Is he getting fined per donut? I think the fine he got from India was from not going into parc fermme leaving the car on the track instead.

You are probably right. I know the FIA frowns on any on track celebrations after the checker and the rules state the driver must bring the car to parc ferme post haste. At one point drivers were fined for stopping to pick up their national flag being offered up by corner workers, so I assumed it was for pulling the donuts.

Anyone else excited about interlagos? This race brings mixed emotions - great race but also marks end of season

Next year - new regs, new engines, new drivers on our teams and others promises to be one of the most exciting yet.

I just hope that with the new V6 turbos, they don't become cheezy sounding like the moto GP bikes did (to me) when they went 4 stroke. I loved it when they were 2 stroke. Now it's just like American super bike. Don't watch it anymore.

I hope F1 stays F1 and not too much like Indy car. They sound lame

I love Interlagos. Remember when Hamilton won the championship in 2008 on the last lap? That was exciting to watch.

^ I was not watching in 2008. Kids and job left me no time . Prior to 2011, The last season I watched actively was in like 2001 when Michael was dominating the likes of mika hakkinen, coulthard, Montoya, Ralph, Irvine and poor old ALO was a rolling chicane

I've heard a sound-bite of the new V6's, to be honest they sound pretty good. Not quite as meaty as the v8's, but they'll still send a shiver down the spine on full revs

Have you heard about the new numbering system too, where the driver's pick their own numbers. Lewis has gone for 44 and Vettel says he wants number 5, but will use number 1 for next season.

Yeah it is a good idea, gives the drivers chance to personalise things a bit. I guess a few drivers will go back to their old karting numbers.

That looks ridiculous. So far all of them do nose wise. But I like the streamlined rear 1/2 of the cars I've seen so far.
