Hard draw and no vapor... A two week lifespan with regular maintenance... I chucked it!! I looked back and thought to myself "Was that really it!?" Any feedback would help. Wondering if that was the true demise of an atty? Any ideas on when an atty gives off "weak vapor" e.g. not much flavor, tastes like "fluff", no TH, just blah... Is that the signs of an atty's pre-death?

I would end up either a) boiling them in water for 15-20 minutes or b) letting them soak in iso alcohol for a few hours followed by a boil in water.

Imo crude is getting built up around the atomizer from juice vaporizing, just as a pipe would build up resin/tar. This effects the vapor production a bunch.

I have recently been using cartomizers now since its not too expensive too just chuck at cartomiser every so often, rather than cleaning atomizers.

Rule ive learned is never throw anything away from vaping..atleast for a month or more. Ive found so many useful things, almost everything can be recycled imo.

Some attys and thick VG juices will clog an atty. Im sure there will be many opinions on what you should do. I never wash or boil, or soak mine but will blow them out once in a while. I use Cisico LRs exclusively and have no serious issues. Eventually at the end of their life cycle they begin to weaken and the draw does get a bit harder but I use 2 in rotation for over 3 months. When blowing doesnt help...I replace them.
