Molehill Mountain Art Drip Tips ---- 4 ---- We're Back!!

Ha, chili! So true!
Doug had applied for and gotten a part time job. We were good with that. It would allow him to be able to continue making tips, etc. However, the company had to fire someone and he took over the work that needed to be done. That equals full time, plus. They're thrilled that they won't have to hire anyone else and are super happy with his work performance. We do think that once the Christmas rush is over, he won't be working so many hours. Guess we'll find out. Maybe if I start Valentines tips now, he can have them finished in time. lol

I got all my trays painted and am putting finish on the last batch today. Whew! There's only one that I really don't like and wish I had time for a do-over. But, it's for the four year old grandson and I don't think he's that much of an art critic... yet. Tonight we start putting on the feet and handles!

Hey, Chili. Rainy and up to 65 degrees today, 40 tonight. BUT, in the fifties tomorrow and down to 29 tomorrow night. Wouldn't mind, but there's no snow forecasted.......I mean, if you're going to get cold, it ought to be pretty .....cold.

48 today and the sun is shining and 51 tomorrow!
I love snow but we usually get ice! So I am OK without a white Christmas!
I'm getting ready to make cookies! We always have a White Elephant exchange and the theme this year is cookies! I just can't bring myself to wrap up store bought cookies so I will be up to my elbows in cookie dough! But the house smells soooooo good when you bake!

Where in TN is Mr. Chili from ? Mr. Chooch grew up in Memphis but wouldn't go back there. Prefers the mountains' weather over the Mississippi's flatland humidity. He didn't know you "weren't" suppose to have sinus problems until he went to school in Knoxville. OTOH, his extended family and our youngest live that-a-way.

Steve also grew up in Memphis but would never go back! He graduated from Sheffield HS, but his parents have always owned over 300 acres just outside of Bells TN. We tried onice to return back to TN in the 80s but just couldn't find jobs that pay what we were able to make here. He just really misses the hunting and country living, not to mention the good cooking of his mom!
We have thought about going back now that we are retired but our kids are here in Texas. Who knows, maybe someday

Hubby went to East High School, but when it opened in 1948 had grades one through 12. Still had all grades in 1960 when he graduated. We've been trying to find when Sheffield opened as hubbs can't remember this school, so thinks it opened after 1960? Remembers Messick, Central, Treadwell, White Station, but not Sheffield.

I would stick close to the "kids" and grands. Being a part of their lives more important than location.

Goodness, Steve was 3 when Mr.Chooch graduated. But he did attend the first grade at White Station!
And I will probably not move unless my two boys move out of state! Besides, East TN is prettier than west TN

I never have liked cooking but since I retired I am trying really hard to get better at it. I use to have the excuse that I didn't have time because I worked but now I have no excuse

Actually I do like to cook. If it's really simple and if the kitchen is clean and empty.

I live with my daughter and her three boys. The kitchen is never empty and clean!

Just popping in to say Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
I thought I would have my reindeer tip for Christmas but apparently Chooch's tips told mine what fun it was to take the scenic route! It was due for delivery and actually arrived at the sorting station on Friday and then disappeared! So I thought ok Saturday, didn't happen. But on the bright side I should get it next week! I am so set for next Christmas!
These MM tips sure are adventures and love to travel!
Thinking of putting myself in a box and sending me out USPS! I might make it to Alaska! What fun I could have

Sad thing is that it has been sitting 20 minutes away from me since last Friday! But it is cute as a button and is well worth the wait!
I am glad your Christmas was quiet and lazy! Ours was full of tension with the DIL, her mom and my youngest son's girlfriend. Mr. Chill and I are staying home next year so we can have a quiet and lazy Xmas. We are too old for all the family drama. Life is too short and it's time for Mr. Chill and I to truly enjoy the years we have left!
What makes us happy is a warm fire and a cup of hot chocolate
