Hi all! Not much fun around here today and I'm sorry there won't be any tips this evening unless things change drastically. Doug was up all night with a really bad toothache and is in pretty bad shape today. I should have antibiotics and pain killer in hand in about two hours. Not soon enough in my opinion... but thankful for our dentist doing this on a Sat!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend, enjoying whatever sort of weather you're having. We're a little cooler today and supposed to have some rain. We had a doozey of a hail storm yesterday. Or was it the day before? Whichever, it beats all the petals off my roses. Otherwise, things fared pretty well.

Hope the dog gets trimmed and allergies taken care of and the house all spruced up. I agree chooch... it's good to have goals!
Can't "like" this post Kayte..Hope "The Dustmaker is on the mend soon. :(

Good Sunday morning everyone..I'm in the middle of Beta testing a member of this forums "home brews". Beta might not be the right term as these are not yet "for sale" to the public..but she sure got the Sirius 4 out of 5 for recommendation on the one I'm testing right now! :p

Fly fly fly little bird..You really have something here as a 4 on the Sirius scale ain't small peanuts. ;)

She is literally sitting with me but on my legs, her paws I the table watching me just type away. Puppy kisses every now and again for attention.

Okay, since Sirius "sampled" before steep time was over, I rushed to sneak a taste too! Woot! I can't name the fruit nor hubby name the fruit, but the fruity is GOOD! Tried it first on a mini PT at 1.7 ohms, 3.7 watts, own coil, cool tasty. Next poured it into Subtank at 1.2 ohms, 14.7 watts, own coil, warm tasty! Think though that I need to keep it at lower watts because (1) anything above 3 nic at higher watts is congesting me and (2) fruity tastes better at cooler vape.......except if you eat it in a cobbler, Ha! :) The flavor is really good at either wattage. When is it going into production? :)

Edit to add: We've got to remember that about half my taste buds have to be deader 'n a door nail and that I have a difficult time finding a juice I can enjoy.....consequently a list of shops where I find one or two that I'm happy with. This one hits my spot!

Hi Mountaineers!
Kayte, I am so sorry to read that Doug is in pain and having issues with his teeth.:(
I cannot type well. I tried to cut my left index finger off with a big knife today. And then to add insult to injury, I just jammed my left thumb nearly out of it's socket.
So I am making this short. Love and hugs to all.

Up in the wee hrs of the morning and having a cup of camomile so hopefully I'll get a few more hrs of snooze time.

Meanwhile, KS, you got me to wondering what it was you were doing with that big knife and how you jammed your thumb.......both injuries on the left hand. :( Hope the doctor was gentle sewing the stitches. :)

LOL! Dale, if your body parts are still moving without hurting, the weekend has been a success! You're the only other person besides myself I found that has Monday as a "wash day". Ha! :)

G'morning, Sparkle. :) The porch painting is done and it looks good. Feels like there were a gazillion pickets to the railing, but hubbs got the front and to the right while I painted the back and to my right. He had the bigger roller and brush while I got the teeny tiny ones. He got to stand while I had to sit on my side. He left globs and drips while I smoothed out all surfaces. He got done a lot quicker........so I made him help me with last railing, help my cramped body up.......and get dinner! Ha!

Morning everyone. Thanks for the well wishes for Doug. He's feeling better. Not super, but better and I'm super thankful for that! He has an appointment at 3:30 today with the regular dentist. We'll see where it goes from there. :2cool:
He is however, back in the shop this morning. Glad he feels good enough to be up and about for awhile. :)

KS - OUCH!  Sure hope your poor fingers mend quickly!

Dale - hope you had a wonderful time with the busy 4 year old! I'm having Evie (5) over to make cookies this week. Sooo glad the kitchen is usable again. She needs to come break it in. I've missed cooking with her. It's always hilarious!

Chooch - aren't you glad that job is done! Sounds like you're a pro at painting pickets. I have some picket fences that could use your touch. ;)

Watson has been acting all squirrely at night the last two nights. He did this last year at this same time. Back then we learned that there was a mountain lion in the area and figured it must have come around the house during the night and scared the poor little fella. From what I've read/heard, they have a large territory and they circle it once a year, so I'm guessing it's back.

We've also had deer in the yard. Must be Italian... think it ate some of my oregano.

Kayte, good! :) Was hoping you could get Doug in right away, and isn't it Evie that wraps Doug around her fingers and cracks you up with her humor?

I've decided any further pickets of anything is going to be painted by someone else. It's come down to "flat walls" only and that's it! :(

Um-m-m-m, mountain lion?......Doesn't that call for an "armed guard" and all animals inside.....including the two legged kind?
