I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, I'll be driving in the am.

Don't want them city folks thinking I'm a hick, so I gave my truck a bath, not to bad for 15yrs use. She's an early 2000, purchased Dec 1999.

Beautiful truck! We have the SAME EXACT truck! Ours still looks and runs great! Best truck we have ever had!
Take care on the road and Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Kayte! Thanks for the welcome! I am not sure the names of the tips that i was able to get, but they are beautiful! I was very fortunate to get them from Daleron. You make some wonderful and unique tips! I am so glad that Daleron introduced me to these awesome tips!
Can't wait to see more!
chilicat - dale is a sweetheart. One of the best friends around. And thanks for the kind words! Unique is something we work hard at! :)

Bet you're prepping that turkey? Perhaps baking pies? Hum..I miss the old family Thanksgivings. Oh well, no turkey coma for me... But, I'll not be eating leftovers for a week either! Hehehe

Sirius... you don't like leftovers??? What insanity is this?! If I can get away with cooking twice a week, I am one happy woman! It's a very good thing that Doug doesn't mind leftovers in the least. Whew!
I used to cook daily when the kids were around. Think I just got kind of burnt out. ;)
Think dau. and new SIL are making the traditional dinner for tomorrow; however, for Black Friday sushi is scheduled.......Okay. I'm one of those people who love to have 3 dinners in a row off that bird. Then I'd stew the carcass for turkey soup! :)
Black Friday and sushi. They were made for each other. And I'm avoiding both.
Hope you have a wonderful time!
As yes, the leftovers. The best part! Turkey sandwiches with a bit of stuffing and home made cranberry sauce can't be beat. With the microwave invention -- load up that plate and nuke it for a replay meal!

Even when going to big friendly gatherings on Turkey Day, we still cook our own over the weekend to ensure we have plenty of this fare.
That's what I usually do tearose. Just don't seem to have it in me this year. We have enough leftovers from our celebration with the kids for Doug and I to have turkey dinner tomorrow and that's it. Maybe I'll get around to making it all again next week.
Enjoy!

Killowatt, that truck looks brand new! She washes up real nice.

I think Doug and I are going to stay in, enjoy our left overs and have a movie marathon tomorrow. Nice and cozy. This will be a first for us! If we end up bored, maybe I'll take him out for a walk and throw snowballs at him. :D

Okay, 'cept for the clothes I think I'm packed. Took all afternoon to figure on what to co-ordinate with clothes I'll throw in later.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Mountaineers .....and those just visitin'! :) Dau. wants all eight of my Boston firns so will be up crack of dawn filling the van. We will contribute wine for dinner. That ought to travel well unless there's a mishap getting there.....Then all bets are off!

Killowatt, your truck looks like hubby's but his is 5 yrs. younger. Of course, it looks "cool"!!

Happy Turkey Day!. :)

So pretty! My turkey never looks like that. No one would want to see a picture of my mess. But ooooh is it turkey perfection! Tender and super moist. Try to get it out of the roaster and it falls completely apart and leaves clean bones laying in the pan. No carving my turkey. It won't stand up for it.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!!:wub::wub:

Oh boy am I exhausted...spent all day cooking and just got through cleaning up after our Thanksgiving dinner tonight...we did ours tonight because my oldest son has to work until 7 tomorrow night and that was too late for us to eat and then me get over to the bf's, so tonight it was.

And @Kayte that is exactly how my turkey came out. First time I've used a roaster for it, and you're right, it just falls right off the bone...so moist and delicious and just yummy! So glad I decided to pick up that roaster yesterday when I passed it in the store. Sent plenty of food home with the kids, and still have plenty left here for the twins to eat through the weekend.

Now to try to unwind for the rest of the night...and then have to go to the bf's tomorrow and do it all again...but at least I won't have to cook that one! :p

Oh yeah, and I got in my two beautiful little Christmas tips today, and they are even more stunning and beautiful in person! Too tired for pics right now, but will try to get some later. Thank you Kayte! I love them!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, just in case I don't have time to get on here tomorrow! :D
