Yeah she does need a sweetie name. I can't get use to her registered name. Ashland .. OMG reminds me of Asheville NC and Oteen VA hospital there!
I've shortened it up a bit to just Ash, but Idk if it will stay that. lol
Maybe her character/demeanor will lend itself to a nickname....could take a while to show tho. Meanwhile got to call her something.....Ash...lin?....Ash...ley?.......Puppy? Fun times ahead!

At this age she reminds me of a puppy I had for a very short time. (He was in a litter we were selling so I had to let him go. It's been over 10 years and I still miss him. I obviously should have kept him. His name was Conniver. He was such a conniving little thing. Reminded me of my son.
He was an amazing escape artist. He'd find a way out of the 'puppy pin' we had set up in the kitchen (none of the others ever escaped) and would track me down for snuggle and play time. I liked that about him. Such a smart little pup! Sigh... now I'm going to be depressed. I miss Conniver.
