WHEW, Katdarling and John! :) Thank goodness all is good. :thumb:

Here in Chattanooga, north Georgia and Alabama, believe it or not, we get a bit of each. Small tremors, but every few years we'll get a slew of tornados that do tear up our areas pretty bad. That was somewhat of a surprise.......after moving here..........Then there was the "Snow Storm of the Century" right after we moved in........Suppose to get that kind of snow in the NORTH! :grr:

Well, Sirius, nope, ain't moving. Weather follows where ever I move to. :( Can be bad at times, but not constantly. I like it here.

There was a 6 yr period where we moved to 3 different states and the last move to Chattanooga from Charlotte that just felt the full force of a hurricane.....in Charlotte,NC?.....then the Snow Storm of the Century......in Chattanooga? I was beginning to feel that I ought to stay put.......'cause those were weather events happening once in a century! :p

I am a "service brat" and moved every 2-3 yrs growing up. Married a civilian and darn if I wasn't moving again! Retired and Chattanooga is my "home" now. Am NOT gonna move any more.....never......ever......no how......no way......

That must have been HUGO..I was living in SC at the time. Bad storm and it did a lot of damage. We just missed it because Susan got sick and we had to go back home. Was in Mt. Pleasant at that time.

Yep, that was the one. 11 days without power, but thankfully for us personally little damage. Funny thing is, I spent teen yrs in south FL and experienced hurricanes. Went to bed the night Hugo hit Charlotte thinking it would poop out that far inland. Wasn't worried. Old hand at this stuff, you see. HA! Was I surprised! 8-o

Didn't lose power when snow storm hit. Really thankful for that. Rather be warm than cold. However, many, many people here did for weeks in some cases. Having never experienced that kind of snow fall where I lived just had to don our skiing clothes and play!

Ahhh Choo, it's just me. I don't understand why we split it up or why we can't brag right here on Kayte's thread. I also liked the chit chat in-between a growing "family". It just means I have to bounce back and forth now and the conversations and comments amongst each other are now split up.......just me....I'll live.;) It's a one man one woman team and I want Kayte to have time to play and create which is what she was happy doing.

I'm kinda with you on that cat cat.

I'm not. Here's food for thought. If we brag here, we brag to each other. "Hey, I know you wanted this, but I clicked faster than you!" That's what that seems like. Custom orders would be different I suppose. In a dedicated brag thread, we brag to the community, not just to ourselves. Look how many new people have commented in that thread already. Just my :2c:

Good morning all! Yes. It is still morning in my world. Seems my body may simply refuse to go along with day light savings time this go-around. I'm fairly cranky about it, too. Jimmy Carter started it. I would like him punished now, please. :glare:

On a bright note... I just listed two tips on the website! YAY!!!

SOLD Cambodian Rosewood - Wood

SOLD Kiwi and Coconut - Acrylic

I've followed a few "show us your XXX" type threads and love them. It seems to me they work best when the chit chat is minimal and it really is mostly pictures, preferably pictures with the mods/toppers and group shots. Of course, there will be some comment, especially with those who have never seen MoleHill products, but the social aspects and most of the oooh's and aaah's should be here, I would think.

What I like most about them is that they aren't necessary to follow every day (once they get going) and are a great way to see lots of interesting designs. IMHO no one should change what they have been doing here at the sales thread at all. It's a lovely group.

Someone scooped up that Kiwi and Coconut with a quickness! Congrats to who got it!

3 hours later, it was still available. I guess someone either changed their mind or the shopping cart expired? In any case, I got vapemail last night, and have added a lime/grass green glass tank and a red tank to my collection, and didn't have any tips that matched. 1 down, 1 to go.. ;)

That tip will look so good on your new tank, John! :) Where did you manage to snag a lime green/grass tank?

Technically, the tanks aren't new, but I got the bottom two last night, and already had the top one. One of those shades of green will be a perfect match. Already installed the ProTank glass and the Kayfun m-tank, and am using the Kayfun green tank today with the money tip (green, get it?), but it doesn't really match and will go back to where it belongs when the new tip(s) arrive.

Authentic Kayfun m-tank:
Kayfun Green M-Tank - Accessories - SvoëMesto - Rebuildables

Fake Kayfun m-tank:
$4.76 Replacement Tank Sections for Kayfun 3.1 / Kayfun Lite (7-Pack) 7-pack - ships with one of each color at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Fake ProTank glass:
$6.55 Replacement Glass Tanks for Protank-II Clearomizer (7-Pack) 8-pack - ships with one of each color at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Hi Everyone,
I have been secretly enjoying your family for many months now, reading your posts and getting to know you all, just never have had the time to post and say Hi, and introduce myself. My name is Lisa and I have purchased several tips from Kayte and Doug, and also had a few special orders made. I had to laugh, John, because I was the lucky quick jumper to get the kiwi/coconut, and the reason that 3 hours later it was back on the site was because, Doug and Kayte being the most incredibly awesome people that they are, suggested that I have a new one made with a s.s. insert. Let me explain....I am not the most graceful person, I am a bit of a Klutz!! And poor Dr. Doug the acrylic surgeon has had to fix 3 of my tips. And instead of having kiwi/lime travel back to him in the future, he thought it best to just make a new one already reinforced. Saves him the hassle and me the co-pay.
So John, we will have matching tips!!!!
Looking forward to chatting with you all. I have pics to upload of some of the tips I have been fortunate enough to snatch up ......

Heck, Lisa, don't be shy and welcome! :) Would love to see the tips you grabbed right from under our noses and the extra special ones you ordered. Looks like Dale and I aren't the "fastest guns in the west" after all..........uh oh....... Lisa, now wait a minute. OLD people go first! :D......It's gotta be good for somewhere.....
