Sirius, have seen various hand made wood and acrylic tips at the larger vape meets. Always take a pass on them because they just don't have the quality of turning that Doug has......They seem....uh......"rough"......not finely turned. :(

JohnD, I just don't see how you could physically vape comfortably on that tip!

Well so far on this forum about the only drip tips that can come close to competing with Molehills are Trippy Tips. The Tripsters are here on ECF as well, but I have discussed this at length awhile back and I know a Trippy would last me about 1 day before it shattered into a hundred pieces. There is NO comparing the styles to the cost either.

Example only and not trying to disrespect Tripsters because whether its Glass, Stainless Steel, Acrylic or wood, it's subjective. I haven't ever even tried a Trippy, and probably wont for this reason alone:

$26 MhM ( Drop it, if it breaks Doctor Doug aka The Dustmaker will fix it if it can be fixed)

You want ART ya say?

Around $30 (All Unique)

How about something SPECIAL?

Special Order MhM Maple, Lacewood, Walnut, and Rosewood, Segmented around $50 ( Where ya gonna get something this good huh?)

Like I say, no disrespect to Trippys, to each his/her own and all that bunk..lol ;)

I have seen my share of wild and inventive tips, but none hold a candle to a Molehill IMHO Chooch!

Same here Sir Sirius. As gorgeous as those glass tips are, I know I will never own one. I also know I have touched on why I love my MhM tips so much in the past, there is just something special about the way Doug shapes the mouthpiece end that they are just a pleasure to use. I've supported a couple other big name drip tip vendors so I could try the 'lip feel' of their tips, something you cant quite get from a picture alone. Although most come from the same raw stock material Doug uses, none provide the same level of comfort of a MhM tip. Because lets be honest, it can be the most amazing looking drip tip ever made, but if its not comfortable, its just going to sit on a shelf, or in a drawer, or sold/traded/discarded. I still shudder a little on the few occasions when I have to use a 'metal' tip, they are just so cold and unnatural feeling.

They do feel perfect on the lips GF. I revisit my smaller ones every week, and they feel the same. I do like mine over 1&1/2" with a large drawhole (4mm max size Doug will do) The Dustmaker probably does this to keep the feel of the tip as close to what he feels is a comfortable tip and correctly so imo. I'm sure there are other reasons for the max 4mm drawhole...but that's almost 1/4" unlike the Big'G's Cloud Chasers use.
Those things are an easy 1/2" bore.

I tried it out - it's not so bad as far as comfort goes. It's the though of sucking on the guys head that bothers me! It just sits in my tip collection, unused. Nice design, meant for show. Don't think I'd ever take it out of the house though!

Unfortunately, Kayte & Doug don't work with glass or metals, but every business has their 'core competency', and Kayte & Doug have mastered theirs.

PS - For those not too up on their business lingo...

^ THAT, right there... +1 You wouldn't believe it unless you've tried it, but MM tips really DO feel best on the lips!

My whole dealeo with vaping RDAs was the SS Tips. I hate those things. The cartomizers I started on with my eGos had rubber tips. Not so uncomfortable but more like a pipe than anything else.
