Yep, Keepsmiling, it's a bummer getting old......Actually, don't have to do NOTHING to get injured. Couple of years ago woke up with left shoulder stiff and sore with limited rotation. :confused: Had't done anything for it to do that. Maybe I slept on it wrong. Okay, that's it......only it lasted for about 7 mos! Did some exercise with the hand weights to help keep joint from freezing up. That and some ibuprofen and actually laying on it at night helped. Finally after a long time , I could reach behind my back or above my head....Had my left arm back which wasn't too bad cause I'm right handed. :p.......THEN....

Yep, you got it, few mos. later, same thing happened to right shoulder! :facepalm: Once again, hadn't done anything physical to warrant such an joint injury,.....Getting old in the body is the pits cause it limits what you THINK you can still do. :(

Am just glad, Keepsmiling, your fall didn't break anything. Gotta keep our parts functional before they just up and tell you they quit!!! :ohmy:

Thanks everyone.:) I have always been a terrible klutz!:danger: Injuries range from lightning strikes, falling in holes and snapping my ankles, to being thrown by horses, bitten by parrots, and tossed from moving vehicles into cactus patches.:blink: (it took months to get all the tiny prickers out}
It's a wonder I am here to tell you.:oops:

Holy cow, KS!!! 8-o What stories you could tell! :laugh: "The Perils of Pauline" has nothing on you, and am happy you made it here. :)
Oh yeah...I was also in a tractor trailer that jack-knifed in '75, with two Siberian Huskies. My ex was driving. I had to spend the night in the entrance way to the Buffalo Airport with a gaping hole in my face from slamming into the CB mount. We were waiting to get a rental car the next morning. It decided to snow for the first time that year on that very night.:rolleyes:
You should have seen the look on people's faces when they got a look at that motley crew....8-o

Oh my doodness Smiley..Yeah I've had my times in the ER myself. Road rash from MC accidents. Broken bones from car accidents. Oh then there's that BIG one. Had to take my Freightshaker off the road to keep from making a big greasy spot in the highway avoiding a Toyota truck full of Mexican state workers. :facepalm:

Wonder why I hear the song Bobby McGee when reading about you in that big truck? :lol:

Oh wow..how did I forget the night Sirius died? Yep heart attack and flat lined 11 years ago at the ripe young age of 45! Smoking and drinking and too many pizzas. Ha! Didn't kill me off then, but I learned my lesson. If you're having sharp pains in your chest no matter if it's on your heart side.(left) or not, go see a cardiologist. ASAP!

But, do you think a close call with death stopped me from smoking? Not until vaping came along was I a success at that quitting thing. Fo REELZ!

Dig this bit of Sirius family history. 45 years ago today, I was 11 years old. My father died of a heart attack at 45 years of age Sept. 25th 1969. He was 11 years old when his father died of a heart attack at 45 years of age. I was 45 when I was 3 paddle shocks and a shot of clot buster away from death from the same thing. That's pretty amazing don't ya think?

Want me to tell you how my very own car ran over me? :D Left tread marks on my ankles; and when I called into work to tell them I'd be a tad late, the receptionist said she thought she'd heard every story until now.....Nothing happened but shredded stockings, torn slacks, and the tire marks which made a great "show and tell" at the office that day. :p
