 Killowatt, that "two feet of snow" is funny! :p

Have a good trip, Mommabird, and don't get burnt! ;)

TY chooch and I won't ;) Been visiting the local tanning salon. I am fortunate that I tan easily and rarely burn. Hope I don't eat them words and get cooked ;) LOL

The challenge right now is getting hubbs to get all of his stuff laid out for packing. He has been on the run alot shuffling his business and ball games. I am also trying to get loose ends in some of my rescue tasks tied up. And I have some backups in line in case I can't be reached by mail or phone. I am a manager with the rescue that I volunteer with and have other tasks so there is always something ;)

Forgot to congrats everyone who got a snag last night! Pictures or it didn't happen ;) LOL

Ks are you seouusly getting that much snow? Stay warm and enjoy!

!
Bite your tongue no! I am in central Fl. While I have seen it snow, it doesn't stick around thank goodness. I pray that does not change in coming years. I have never seen temps like I did across the entire US last night on the news. Quite unsettling.
Momma have a fabulous and safe trip! LOTS of photos please!

I need a brown... and a green. Oh heck. I need a good dozen. I've been thinking these would look nice on a shelf in the kitchen. I can fill them with flavor extracts and herbs for cooking right? Of course I can!:facepalm:
A turquoise peacock with sparkles. We're going to have to dig deep into my brain for that one.:laugh: Seriously going to have to ponder this one.

Hope you're having a wonderful day too!

:laugh::laugh::laugh:
Glad you have some long sleeve shirts on hand for it!

Is it normal for Houston to get that low? (I have family in the Houston area. :) )

Hot chocolate, pop corn and a movie night?

The 'real feel' thing cracks me up.
Enjoy your sweltering heat! 80 is too hot for me! I'd love to live somewhere that's an average of 63 to 65 with nights in the 40s. Year round. lol

Me too!

I'll have tips to show later on. Have a great afternoon!
Houston gets into the teens & lower on the north side, which is about 50+ miles away from me. But we still get into the 20's down here. Houston is so big that it eats up it's suburban towns. You wouldn't be able to tell where one stops & the others begin if it weren't for road signs. Some towns that existed when I came here in the late 70's have been annexed & no longer exist as cities, they are now Houston suburbs. We were down to 34 last night, supposed to hit high 60's today. Woohoo! I don't do cold.

Thanks everyone. Of course I thought she was beautiful the instant I laid eyes on her. What an amazing day that was!

My daughter and her husband are blondes and gave birth to four blond boys. Our little family is a picture of the U.S. - a melting pot. We're like our own little rainbow. :D
My daughter has had to learn entirely new hair skills being mama to 3 curly headed girls. It takes a serious amount of effort to maintain so they won't end up with major frizz head. It's taken her almost 3 months now to start seeing some improvement in the oldest's hair. (She's 11 and just joined our family. :D It should be finalized in January. I can hardly wait! Until then, this is the only kind of picture I can show you...

Doesn't she look like a happy girl?:laugh::laugh:

It warms my heart that your daughter is so much like you Kayte. Awesome pic, even though she's wearing a smiley. She's found the best possible home she could ever dream of imho! ;)

Yes the shape is almost the same..However it is thicker going up from the bulge to the top to allow a 4mm hole. I love this shape and is the same as with my Lime Stripe one.

I love your lime stripped baby & of course the segmented are just awesome, cant wait to see some when doug is feeling p to it!

The snow pics are amazing! And terrifying! Well... all except for the two feet of snow in NY pic. Thanks for the laugh Killowatt!

The most we've gotten at once is 3ft. It was incredible. Beautiful! I'm pretty sure I would be a claustrophobic mess if I was in that awful lake snow storm they're having right now. Nonononono! No can do!

This is my yard with about 2ft. (Taken a few years ago.)
