Hope everyone has had a great day to start off the new year! There are tips in the works. Oh yes there are! Doug has been working on tips for me to play with.
I'm planning to get back to work tomorrow! We've been having lots of fun with family (as you could see from the pics of the cuties.) Tomorrow is my vapiversary and I'm REALLY hoping my 'celebration reward/combo Christmas present' will be in the mailbox tomorrow. I'm so excited! I hope I sleep tonight!

Tonight is date night so Doug will be in shortly. Our hot date will consist of taking down the tree and garland, etc., etc., etc. Oh boy. I think I'll taste a little coconut cream pie vapor while I wait for him. (I wouldn't want to start without him and have him miss all the fun. )

The mini Davide apparently and only recently comes in two different sizes. Recently the ones I've gotten comes in a box that has a sticker on front that has an oval on its side with line thru middle and the number 14 next to it. This one is the diameter size of the mini ProTank and can use the ProTank's replacement glass. If the box does NOT have the oval and number 14, then it is the fatter mini Davide and you must be sure to get the fatter replacement glass.

Learned the hard way. Ordered replacement glass in each color for the one mini Davide I had. Then decided I needed a couple more mini Davides. The ones that came in had the oval 14 on them and the new replacement glass wouldn't fit, but the mini ProTank glass would. Finally found a vendor that had the fatter mini Davides so I could use the the fatter replacement glass.........got a lot of minis in all different colors now......

Yes indeedy, that was an interesting week of discovery. The ORIGINAL mini Davide is not only fatter around but about 1/8 inch shorter than the mini ProTank. I ordered a Mini Tatroe Bottom Cap 510 base to replace the ego base for it which made the mini Davide 1/2 inch shorter! Now when I use the ProVari in its shortest mode, the mini Davide or the mini ProTank doesn't stick out so far. The Tatroe cap will fit both fat or slim mini Davides and the ProTank that it was made for. No o-rings are needed!

I believe the vendors are unaware of this recent change in size as there is no notification on any of the web sites I've gone to. Just remember, if the box has that oval and the number 14, it is the newer, slimmer, slightly taller mini Davide and the ProTank mini glass will fit it. If you have the older, shorter, fatter Davide, order your glass from a vendor that specifically sells mini Davide replacement glass/tubes.......that is until they start selling replacement glass for the newer slimmer model......

Thank you! I got a white mini provari (with extension cap.) They didn't have pink, red or purple, so I just went with white and am going to get a wrap for it. After that, I'll decide which color tube I want. And what drip tip. Maybe I'll pick a tip and design everything else around that.
Thanks for the wealth of info about the Davide's! And a smaller cap would be so nice! I'm not fond of how long these things are, so shorter is right up my alley!

Well, Kayte, just got in the mail my Black Ash Burl tip, Pg. 378. This is my first wood tip, and I gotta say it's a humdinger. It goes so well on a grey glass Davide on top of the bronze (was going to get the white one) mini ProVari. It just looks so mellow sittin' up there. That's it!......Just going to have to get some more! Besides new month started and with new vape budget too......
