Kayte, enjoy each and every vape! It looks AWESOME and I can FEEL your excitement!!!!

I have had very good luck with the wraps, having to adjust them several times and/or changing them out. I just change them when I get bored..keep the paper they came on and just stick them back on that for reuse. The only exception was the clear wraps...those just weren't for me...I destroyed them:D

Ummmm... the holographic wraps are good for one use... Guess how I know. ;)

Yeaaaaa! You got it & it's sooooo pretty!:)
Thanks Chim!! I'm enjoying it!
I've been playing with the volts on it and if I go down far enough that it doesn't make my liquid taste a bit burnt, it doesn't give enough vapor. It's a new davide, so I'm figuring the wicks just aren't saturating well enough yet. A tiny bit frustrating, but hopefully it will work itself out. I was hoping for lots of vapor.
I've kept all mine in mini mode too Kayte, even tho' LB did get me some longer battery's I've discovered I prefer the shorter look ;)

I'll look for a shape for that purple glitter :)
Mini is just right! I still haven't put in the bigger batt. :D

Doug said to let you know that as smooth a shape as possible with the glitter would be nice. Doing them with ridges is really hard. ;)

Kayte you mini and tip are beautiful...so glad you got it.
Thanks so much Iowa!
Hope you're doing well. :)
Oh my, Kayte, it looks so pretty! You're going to love the way the ProVari works each and every time. White goes with anything especially the colors you prefer.

I'm lovin' on the segmented wood, but it's too tall even for me! :( Looks wonderful on Doug's VTR which can handle the heighth. Had one in my hand back last Oct. and it was one heavy piece but beautiful in design.

I did the wrap just fine (mauvish). Only problem with it on MVP is around window where it won't stick even tho I wiped down with alcohol. Everything else lays down perfectly. No problem. There's so little surface around the window there for carbon fiber to grab a hold of that it pops up. Will take it to shop where hubby got it and ask them what to do. Anyway, the Soft Pink Glitter, Pretty in Pink and even Sparkle Gems look beauti-mous on it.......and then there's the purplish one. I change out tips by the hr now, what in the heck am I going to do with wraps?.......I'm really, really becoming a sad case.....
I am glad that any tip will 'go' with it. Hopefully the wrap I have in mind will keep it that way! Guess we'll find out!

The random segmented tip is to big for me too! It sure looked wonderful on the VTR! Personally, I thought he should have kept that one. But what do I know? ;) He said he'd be worried about sticking the VTR in his pocket with a tip that long. He probably has a point. Just wish he'd hurry up and make one for himself. He's so patient. And sometimes I don't think he should be.

I don't think you're a sad case. I think you're having fun! Keep it up! Sure wish we could teach you how to take pics and post them here though. I want to enjoy your creations with you.

What's the resistance of the atomizer head you have installed in the Davide? They use the same heads as the ProTank, and they usually do good around 7-7.5W, so on a 2.4 ohm head, 4.1V = 7W (2.5 ohm head, 4.2V = 7W; 1.8 ohm head, 3.5V = 7W). That's a good place to start anyway...

I see by the photos you posted earlier, that you got the single-coil version of the Davide (which uses the Kanger ProTank heads). There's a newer version of the Davide that uses the Aspire dual-coil heads. Viper-vape has an upgrade kit that turns the single-coil Davide into the new dual-coil Davide. If you want more flavor & vapor, consider this upgrade. You'll need the Aspire heads too.

Anyvape Davide BCC to BDC Adapter - Viper Vape Inc

PS - The upgrade kit works on ProTank II's as well. I just got 5x upgrade kits, and like the Aspire dual-coil heads better than the ProTank 3 dual-coil heads.

I love the glitter acrylic looks so fun
Hi windy! Hope you're doing well. :) I love the glitter tips too. They're fun to play with... twist this way and that and watch them sparkle. I think I'm easily amused.

I'm so glad you posted this! Thank you!! I'm getting the same amount of vapor on a little cig-alike and it's driving me bonkers. Now I know why and can do something about it! Again.. thanks!

Just listed two new tips.

Had to make another ebony with this clay pattern because it's just so nice!

Clay and Ebony - Wood with inlaid polymer clay (the tube is solid ebony... no clay near the vapor. :) )

A close up of the clay work:

Turquoise Glitter - Acrylic

A close up so you can see all the glitter that didn't shine for the camera. :sneaky: All the flat colored dots are glitter, so it's pretty sparkly in person!

Good morning all! :) Stay in, stay warm, and...... I need some info. Got some wraps for Christmas gift: red, purplish, and mauvish for my black MVP 2. Fortunately, there's young people with sharp eyes and steady hands that will put them on for me.

For those of you who have used them, how long do they last? Do you change them out before they ever wear out? If I should try to put on myself, is there only so many times I can correct placement before it won't stick any more? :p

Bukket5, where did you find such a great deal on them? You can change out once a month! :)

I got the package of wraps from Stormy's Vapor Cellar. They are under accessories. The pack is made by Innokin. They don't put one of each in every pack. I got a couple of the same but it's a purple carbon fiber so I don't mind. Really couldn't pass it up for the price.

I have a couple of mods that have been wrapped (Jwraps) for over a year so they last a long time.

Provapes is coming out with combo colors soon. I just hope they don't make one that I have to buy! But I bet a pink/purple combo is going to be gorgeous. :glare:

Yes indeed, do believe there's a whole new catagory of tips I've fallin' in love with. Just got the Maple Wood with Pink today and am sitting at the kitchen table wondering how you melded the two materials together. Interestingly, I've got a small round ProVari wood stand that is some sort of pale wood with dark pink thru it on one side. However you and Doug do this, I like it, I like it!!!!

Hubby MADE me order the Clay & Ebony. Guys really like wood, black, leather & chrome. Been trying to get kitchen cabinets painted for twenty yrs as I've always had wood and wanted something different. Nope! Nothin' doin'.......He now is the cook and grocery shopper!:D
Can't wait to see that tip in person. Got a pair of black "dress" cords, white tailored shirt and black sweater that will look perfect with it!

Thank you Buckket5 for the heads up. :) Will take a gander at what Stormy's Vapor Cellar offers. Did mange to put one on my black MVP2 with only two trys, but it's not sticking along the long sides of the display window. Believe because the material is kinda thick and heavy and there's so little area for it to grip on, it pops up in no time. Will take it by the shop where it was purchased and ask what they can do for it. Did give a good wipe down with alcohol before applying.......Don't think I'll ever quit learning with this new hobby!

I really like the combo of wood and acrylic... and wood and clay is a top notch favorite of mine. We used to do wood pots with clay on them and I was excited when Doug figured we could do the same on tips. Just way smaller. lol

If you would like to see what we used to do, there are some pics in this thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/lounge/422332-talent-show-thread.html (I can go track down which posts if you'd like, but there are some seriously talented people on this forum and it's fun to see all their work!)

I've wanted to paint my cabinets, too. And yep... for Doug it's wood. lol

A gray scarf would go well with your ensemble, too. ;) Very nice! :D
