I'm so intrigued by your frankenstien tank! Thanks for the info. You need to post a pic when you have it all together!

Well, here it is... the Kanger ProTank-II, with Davide BCC to BDC adapter, AeroTank base, and Aspire dual-coil head.

Davide BCC to BDC adapter: If you install as instructed, inserting a tiny white grommit between the shaft inside the ProTank and the top of the Aspire head, you'll get a gap somewhere. I say somewhere because that depends on which you screw together first. A) the BCC to BDC adapter to the ProTank, or B) the base to the BCC to BDC adapter. Gaps bother me! After careful measurement with a micrometer, I determined that without the little white grommit, the tank air tube and top of the Aspire head should touch. Now metal-on-metal usually doesn't seal well, but so far after a few hours I can't detect any leaking. I'll report back if that changes.

AeroTank base: The base has a sealed 510 connector, meaning you won't get any juice on your mod/battery contact. The bad news is that with the tank assembled, screwing it tightly onto the ProVari leaves a fairly large gap. The center pin on the AeroTank base is flush with the bottom of its housing, when usually the atomizer is a little recessed. Also, I noticed if you screw the atomizer in way too hard, the center pin on the AeroTank base can actually short out!! Watch to make sure the center pin... stays centered. I'm going to attempt to take the AeroTank base apart, once I figure out how to do that, and possibly file away some of the contact inside so it fits flush on the ProVari.

Here's a couple photos, complete with MM drip tip! PS - Remember in a previous post I said the Kanger colored glass is very pale, and that the fasttech glass was very slightly darker than Kanger's? The glass in the tank pictured below is the 'darker' fasttech blue. THAT's what I mean by how extremely pale their colors are! The tank is sitting on a white paper towel, and I edited the photo setting the white balance to the paper towel. The wall behind it is slightly off-white. The blue colored glass should be very accurate in that photo. The other photo was taken in sunlight without flash.

This one was in Knoxville a 1 1/2 hrs drive. All kinds and types of people go, mostly young, but a few of us oldsters too. We go 'cause vendors come from all around town and some come from out of town. They usually have a sale on their juices and some equipment. There's also a raffle. This one had 71 prizes from juices and tanks to MVP's and ProVari's. It's how I got my first ProVari at my first vape meet here in Chattanooga! :D Next mo. Chattanooga will have it's vape meet which Dimitri and Busardo will attend. Being held in a ballroom and they expect 500-600 people, 12 vendors, hamburgers & hotdogs, band and it's to last from 2 pm to 9 pm. That's unusually long. Normally the meets last 2pm to 6 pm around here and on a Sun.

Anyway, everyone has a good time swaping stories and comparing equipment and buying a new and improved.....something. Tonight a well matured lady came over and popped a charm around my tank. Never had seen her before she came over. Wasn't selling anything. Her husband said she does that every once in a while just because. Another younger woman comes over to order a drink (We were standing at the very lg circular bar to lean against something. Not enough chairs. Wear comfortable shoes!) and proceeded to talk about her new Kanger Aro ProTank and demonstrate it to me. Even let me use my tip to vape from it. :)

All in all, it can be a productive and interesting few hours. Vendors let you sample their juices. There was a table there with two guys to show you how to rewire your heads. There was also a "Take Me" table there for people to leave the juices they weren't happy with and take some they'd like to try.

Probably will be our last vape meet in Knoxville though. We don't get home until after 8 pm........pooped!

Sounds like a lot of fun! Chattanooga is only a few hours from me, but that would be a long drive home if it's held on Sunday's. So does Phil live in TN? I never thought to think where he might be from.

Good morning, Robin. No, Busardo, I believe lives in NY or there abouts. He and the "Vapin Greek' aka Dimitri roomed together at the L.A. huge bash last yr and have become fast friends. Dimitri lives here, owns a retaurant, and is a founder of the Scenic City Vapers Club. He also has many utube reviews of stuff and his own personal immigrant story is amazing. He's the one who presented me with my won ProVari at my first vape meet six days after I started vaping. So, I'm now known as "that ProVari lady" by him and others.

The Scenic City Vapers Club's next meet is on Feb. 9th. The club is on Facebook I believe. I usually get my info the old fashion way.....a flyer at one of the shops!

Dale, I always urge newbies to go to their local vape meets if there is one. Or, even if it's in the next town. They're only every or every other month, and it's a great way to get positive feedback from others. They certainly are gowing in size as more and more people find out about this new fangled thing and the equipmemt is getting better and easier to use. Since last Aug. when I became aware of vaping, 5 new shops have opened nearby!

Hi all! Hope your week is starting off well. I'm doing the worried mom/grandma thing today. One of my grandsons was hospitalized yesterday evening with pneumonia. He's eleven. :( Two others came down with the flu during the night.

Cat... I love your new tips! I have to share a pic of them. Hope that's okay!
A little baby hummingbird and a purple glitter tip.

Thanks dale! I'm sooo hoping no one else comes down with it. Awful, nasty flu. I'm pretty sure my daughter will come unhinged if the two littlest get sick. :(
