Rebuilding is not nearly as difficult as people think it is before they start building their own. Even with arthritic joints, you should be fine building. If you can thread a large sewing needle, you can build and mount a coil. Ohm's law is also pretty easy to pick up once you get into building. Buy yourself an ohm meter, it does double duty for you. First, it will act as a base to hold and support your atomizer while you work on the coil, and second obviously it will read and display the resistance of the coil you build and mount, or report back that there is a short so you know to check your connections. If you want an easy source of info, google 'steam engine calculator' for a website that is dedicated to the DIY vaper. It has easy spreadsheets for coil wrapping, ohms law, battery calculations, even juice mixing.

Kayfun's are great atomizers, but consider them to be more of an advanced clearomizer with a deck for rebuilding your own coils. They work best with normal resistance coils, and lower wattage. They are not really designed to be high output low ohm devices, for that you would want to just get a nice simple solidly built dripping atomizer, something like the tugboat, enigma, tobh atty, zenith v2, or origen v2 would be a good starter dripping atomizer to learn sub-ohm coil building and really crank up the watts on that hana mod. The Nautilus will work very well on the Hana mod, just screw it into the mod, drop the watts all the way down, and just slowly work your way up until you get in a good flavor zone and dial it in to just right from there.

Definitely try your hand at coil building, worst case you realize its something you are not comfortable with, but at least you know you have tried.

Thanks TheGF3 :) I am probably overthinking things a bit. I have actually been happy with the Nautis, especially now with the new bvc coils. Can actually crank things up a bit more on the Provaris and so far they are playing nice :) I have a total of fine now including the one I just ordered. LOL

Just want to show off my amazing new tips that were completed today! They were in and out of the reserved page on the website probably no one even had a chance to see them. I did snag the photos before they tips disappeared. I adjusted the white balance on the pics before uploading them, thats why the background is so white compared to the photos in the store. Even got a confirmation e-mail that they have already shipped!

My amazing new Blue Stardust....

Those are gorgeous! That milk chocolate looks like I could drink it!
I sorta wish the white balance could be fixed on all the pics.

FYI: Announced the Provari 3 will have vw.
I was on my way to verify that in the Provape forums when I saw this.
xxx (I forgot. Unmentionable source )
I'm kinda excited.

Mommabird, regulated! Ha! Thought so. Seem vids where the Naut mini with new virtical coil was taken to 20 watts where it did get a bit burnt hit. Was backed down to 17 watts and no burn. Regulated means safer to me, and where I want to stay. However, looked to find replacemet batts for the mini (they got to wear out sometime, don't they?); and couldn't find anywhere this $265 mini Hana could get new batts. Someone please straighten me out on this!

The GF3, thank you for your coiling info. :) Think I'm at my limit with coiling for the ProTanks and Davides. Even tho have stiff thumbs and shakey hands when trying to do "teeny fine" things, with that "coil jig" thingydoo and 5X power hobby glasses (look like an owl wearing them!), I do manage to make my coils between 1.8-2.2 ohms consistantly. Never have understood why to cut off a certain length of wire before you start 'cause you wind up snipping off excess at the end anyway.

GF3, those are two humdinger tips you got there. :D I too was entranced by a Choc. Milk (think mine's lighter, but then again it could be the background lighting) and it's in the mail along with a "Granite" one which hubbs kept asking me about until I ordered. :p So, now I got some tips coming in......and feel "normal" again!

I am just going to make a couple of points about the twisted 28ga coils and I promise I will shaddup about them from here on out.
First a photo:

Here you see a single twisted coil that hasn't been fired yet. What you can not see is what I saw with my magnification visor while firing the coil wicked with cotton and all juiced up. The juice was bubbling throughout the rope like twists and not just in between the coil wraps, and creating as much vapor as with dual coils. More juice sure, but MUCH MORE flavor than I have ever got with ANY coils. Single or double, IMO this 28ga twisted coil hands down, beats anything I have ever tried so far.

Ahhh... So you're the quick-draw mcgraw..... I was pining over the one that got posted Saturday when I missed it by mere minutes. I shot off a message to Doug since he was about to start my custom order for the blue stardust and fortunately I got the last piece of that chocolate milk. Mine is definitely darker, Doug told me that was how the piece was made, so it started lighter at one end, and darkened towards the other end. I got the dark end. I am very happy with the result, since I managed to get a piece in that beautiful color combo, AND got to choose my tip shape. I don't know if I am crazy for seeing it, but I SWEAR there is a little dragon in the swirl pattern in the one pic. Its hiding in the glare of the lights, but I see its head and wings.

TheGF3 -- This tip should be called Coffee Needs Baileys because it looks just like coffee that has just been splashed with a shot of Irish Cream..lol ;)

I just LOL'd a little. When I replied to Doug's email I told him it looks more like the first few drops of creamer in a fresh cup of coffee. =)
I cant wait to get these tips and see them in person, he did such an amazing job. I have one more tip in the queue, its easy to guess what of...
Not a real Molehill Mountaineer without one of them in your collection...

I'm with you chooch-regulated appeals more to me as well:) as far as the mini, if I were you I would shoot the company an email and ask if the battery can be sent in and replaced. They answer pretty quickly.
And wow! Didn't realise that you could go up that high with the new bvc coils. I have cranked it up a little bit on the Provaris and no burnt hits. May try to push one a little further and see what happens;)

GF3- Awesome tips!
