Thanks for the well wishes for our trip! The weather forecasts started looking better for Hilton Head so hubby pulled the trigger on a condo on the beach:)

i haven't even packed and won't get home from work till after 9pm- I hate these long workdays sometimes ;) But I like my job. I'm just getting too old and crippled for 14 hr days. LOL

I just came back from a similar location farther north -- and it was wonderful.

Have a great trip.

Does he mostly eat fruit? I have had cockatiels and parakeets over the years and they are primarily seed eaters with some veggies thrown in. I have always been fascinated with the toucans and tocos :)
Yes, Pico and Gryphon eat mostly papaya, other melons, apple, grapes, blueberries,pears, nectarines, and low iron pellets. Other things in season, right now it's black cherries.Gryphon likes banana, Pico does not. They both like a little cooked sweet potato or some shredded carrots, and romaine lettuce.
{the one in the tree is carved from wood, you do realize that right?:)}

Yes, thank you. Yuna is a Hawkheaded Parrot. I have a male also, his name is Cochise. Then I have my baby girl Holly, she is a red fronted macaw. last but not least, a very unusual bird called a blue naped mousebird. His name is Gryphon.
Then we have a small netherland's dwarf bunny named Elliot, an akita/lab mix with a big heart on his side named Heartly, and a couple betta boys...and a shrimp.:D

Wow. That's an unusual collection of pets. I had a black neck aracari that I dearly loved. I don't think I've seen hawkheads or mousbirds outside of breeding arrangements. I used to raise lories. I almost joined a consortium for mousebirds at one time.

Aracari's are cool.
