Thanks, Sirius. Couldn't have been said better, and now I need opinions from our "odd lot"! I passed up twice 10% sales at ProVape. Been looking hard at the gold zencote or the emerald green ceracote. Does anybody have either or both? I have found threads on both where the finish did not hold up and had to be sent back under waranty. Experience with finish and tip/apparel matching?

I get more of a deal with the emerald green as extension normaly gotten at same time cap $20 + $15 LED color. The gold comes with the extension cap included with price and I'd only save $15 for LED color change IF I wanted blue or green instead.......Think I answered myself.

See, us Mountaineers are not the usual suspects. That is to say, we are not just chatters on a thread or just here to gawk at tips. We are FAMILY. Like it or not. We have our Grandmothers and dog and cat lovers. Horse owners and admirers. Sons and daughters. Me, I have no children except Kat and Angel. My grandkids are Sarah and Welshy. I have got a real family here. They just don't know it yet.
Kayte is everyone's sister or part time mom, (she get's on to me every now and then just for good measure)
Those followers were not Mountaineers. Maybe they wanted to be but got a bit "F" for FAIL in Mountaineering and didn't even develop good Gunslinger skills.
I don't come on here just to see tips or buy tips. I truly care about everyone here.

Awww...Sirius You said it so well I wuv my family here and hope the comrodary here never changes. If I quit vaping tomorrow, I would still be here. No danger of me quitting tho I love this hobby and my tip addiction to much LOL

Chooch-I have an emerald green one and so far my finish has held up well. It is really beautiful and has a little bit of sparkly to the finish

There's no cure for the tip addiction. Mod addictions are easy cured there is so many alike. With MhM Tips though, you can say it's one of a kind.

Just go with Black Chooch..like shoes, black goes with about anything fashion wise. LOL

Choochy. I have the gold zenkote. It is nice. But for the money save you might want the emerald green

I got the kir fanis extension and beauty ring. But they were different colors as well See pic below

It kind of annoys me. Kind of. Was hoping to continue using long enough to tarnish the rest and all of it fade to match. But the kir fanis is fading and the actual finish on provari is still shining. Just is what it is

Budget permitting, might want to wait for the P3. You can change the button color every time you rotate your tip collection, tank color, etc. With all the new features (like variable wattage), might want to consider it... There might not be too many color choices at first, but eventually I'm sure we'll see them all.

Personally, I choose non-colors (shades of black/white/gray, stainless, etc.), which tend to match with other accessory colors a lot better. My ProVari 2.5 is black, and my P3 is satin silver (the only color available in the beta). But that glow-in-the-dark edition is calling my name.... Maybe if they make a P3 in GitD...
