Thanks Sir! My first one in a long time...I try to stay caught up with a few threads, but by the time I read them it's old news and seems silly to to post...but I am here in spirit:)

Well, sweety...you were certainly here enough to spirit that precious tip off! Reminds me of your smile, all sparkly and joyful! Congrats =)

Good catch, Stormy. :) Congrats! You were so quick I didn't know it HAD been available until I came here......and I was on the web site when Kayte posted the two tips. You must have "fingers of quick silver", gal! Hope you were able to find all your tips, have fixed the damaged ones, and found a safe place for your terrific turn table of tremendous tips. :D

Kayte, I really think you need to make up like 50+ glitter tips at one time and post them all. You could retire for the rest of the year.
That would be a very long, hungry year. :tumble:
Oh I doubt Moria could yield such treasures..just giddy looking CGI. I got two problems with these tips Kayte.

1) There ya go making me wished I was a girl again with that first one! Beautiful and sthapit..I'm feeling pretty all of a sudden!:p
2) You're making fun of my hero The Dustmaker. Give the guy a break..he makes up for his lack of imagination naming tips with fine craftsmanship !
Hey... I thought his name was quite imaginative! Strange... but imaginative!
It's the chicken and the egg thing.

MHM is basically known for making feminine tips, so most of their clientele are females, especially females that like sparly tips.

If they would have started off making a majority of wood tips (not saying they should have, just an example), there'd probably be a lot more men following these threads, and sparky tips might not fly off the shelves as fast as they currently do.

There's a couple of other tip manufacturers on the forum (obviously) that deal mostly in wood and stone (nothing sparkly) and their tips sell out super quickly too when they're released, but the majority of members that follow their threads are men.
Doug actually started out turning mainly wood tips and they always sold quickly... mostly to women. We do lots of sparkly, floral, cracked, potpourri, etc., because I want to play, too. Doug gets fussy if I start covering up his beautiful woods with glitter and such. :sneaky: And we've worked hard to create our own 'brand' niche that no one else does. It makes it fun!
Just for clarity... the only real stone tips (jade) I've seen, come from a factory in Hong Kong. I got one thrown in with something I ordered once. (It was pretty rough. lol) We make tru-stone tips sometimes, but they are not real stone. Tru-stone is the brand name of the company that makes it and it may or may not have some stone powder mixed into the acrylic. They make some beautiful stuff. :)
I think that was me!
Hi Stormy!! Good to see you. :) And thanks!
Oh hey!!! Chimney got engaged this week!!!!
Awww! That's wonderful!
Just got in from fishing and popping in to say hello Mountaineers. Hope all has a great day! :)
Are we having a fish fry tonight Sirius?? My dad made the best hush puppies ever... with jalapenos in them. YUM.

I'll be back shortly with tips. :D
