Nope..Ms. Ruby stands alone. Oh well hope Irish got a good home. Hope it was someone that actually has Irish in them..lol :D

Funny thing-I couldn't sleep good last night and was on here looking around. I saw The posts about someone here should get Irish and MH said she would cry if one of us didn't get it. So I thought, "What the heck, my vape budget is already blown" so I went over there to adopt her and someone already had ;) I have a feeling that someone else thought the same as I did. LOL

Nice going, Mommabird. You have a soft heart. ;)

Oh I didn't get her chooch-someone else had already gotten her when I checked. I was going to since she had some sentimental value here :) Glad someone got her and I have a feeling it was a mountaineer since it was right after we were discussing it. ;)

Here we go! Spent an hour this morning trying my hand at making a vertical coil for the Nautilus. Using my magnifying glass along with my magnifying Helping Hands stand was able to do one using my 30 guage wire and cellu cotton. I must say it took me a whole lot longer and it was less pretty than what Trip Trippers demo'd.....and it's not quite straight up and down......a tad wonky and at 1.9 ohms. It's the wrapping around the coil that got me frustrated. :(

At first not much vapor and started to gurgle. Took it off and soaked up juice in the well of the base, put it back on and upped my volts on the ProVari. to 4.2. Right now at 4.7 volts (11.62 watts) and no burnt taste and good clouds, but not fantastic clouds. Taste is clean and tasty. Had hubbs check it out for taste (his buds have never been damaged) and he gave me a thumbs up.

It didn't short out and so far no more gurgling once I set the volts high enough. Now, they say, "Practice makes perfect." Let's see if I can make others under an hour.......

Thanks, Mommabird. :) Like I said, had to use two magnifying appliances to get the job done and try to contol shakey hands long enough to add additional rayon once the coil was in. You have to stuff in space between wrapped coil and wall of shell. Wetting the rayon before wrapping the coil made it stick to my fingers!! :glare:

Oh dear..well I have to use the magnifiers but my hands are like blue steel..well, WERE like blue steel. All the casting I did and reeling in of the spots I'm feeling somewhat wonkey myself. Sheesh glad I've no coils to build.
Keep at it dear, it get's easier. ;)

Well, Iowa Gal, am on my second mini tank already  (remember I chain vape) and all is going strong. Got it in a Bedazzle large purple flower, small yellow flowers, green leaf, matte finish, glass tube on top of white ProVari, topped off with my brand new love, Gypsy Queen! Am up to 5 volts on the 1.9 ohm coil and still no burnt taste or gurgle. :D

Gypsy Queen is a dark mysterious lady that wears a lot of color and jewelry (think Hedy LaMarr). Her colors are a bit brighter than in the picture and with definite dark purple outter skirt over a rich red under skirt with blouse of same rich but brighter red and spots of cracked gold. Over it all she wears large silver sparkes and smaller glitter of blue, red and purple. I think she'll look best atop my purple glass on top of the black MVP. No matter what I have it on tho, she'll grab attention for sure! :hubba: Not sure how Kayte does this magic, but sure glad she does. :)

When I was a kid, I always thought that when the used car dealer sold all the cars on his lot, he got to retire.

1 more until retirement Kate?
 Think I should hold off listing any more tips until the Marbled Ruby sells so we can find out if I get to retire?
