Mommabird and Sirius, hope your visits to the doc's worked out okay; and nothing more than a "look see" had to be done. :)

Thanks Chooch-I sortof feel like I got tazed! LOL The testing involved some voltage and another involved needles....need I say more. LOL Anyhoo...the results will go to my doc and then I will hear from him. I imagine whats going on is all tied in to my RA. Weird things that happen usually are related

I'm curious~ If only 3 or 4 tips go up on the site at a time how does anyone outside of this thread have a chance to buy? Or is selling only via ECF?
ECF is where I always post the tips. Occasionally I remember to post them on FB, too. When we started out we asked if everyone would rather see them as they come in from the shop or do a once or twice a week release. They opted for 'as they come in'.
We actually do have quite a few customers that don't post on ecf. They check the website frequently and grab them when they see one they like. :)
WOW Kayte that is gorgeous and exactly what I was thinking. The bronze looks like it would match the provari very nicely. Any chance of doing more in this color combo in a taller tip (more like the size/shape I usually go for). It's got that unique art appeal without giving off a girly vibe. One thing I don't have in my MhM collection is a T.Kayte original, all just bare acrylics and woods so far.
There's a good chance of that GF. I plan to make more in various sizes and shapes. :D I'm glad I hit on an original you'd like to have!
I mean, that sounds a lot like a request for a custom tip....lol

if y'all are doing requests.....I want a solid GOLD tip....made out of solid silver....dipped in gold, flown to the planet Jupiter.....dipped in some ether from the planets core. then held outside the space shuttle while riding thru the nebula for the finish coat. signed by Elvis of course. ''

hope everyone is having a good weekend
:laugh::laugh::laugh:
Hm-m-m-m........Kayte, you need to get Doug to explain this to us! I know Doug can only make them to a certain max. hole diameter, but does the length of the tip dictate max. hole size?.....or does the length matter?

Been checking tips I have and a few seem to have a tad bit larger sized hole, but the tip seems to have more width/material to them. Could be my imagination tho......I ate a granola bar.....:D
The length of the tip doesn't matter. Doug uses a 1/8" bit or 4mm if someone requests it. On rare occasions he'll use a 3/16" if it didn't drill quite straight. The 3/16" will clean it up and make it straighter. On the 4mm, the difference is that the tip can't have a skinny neck. Pretty much has to be a barrel shaped tip.
On our tips, there's really no point in making them over 4mm's because the ss insert isn't any bigger. The vapor would go through a 'bottle neck' situation, if that makes sense, so doesn't make a difference in the vape to go bigger than 4mm.

Some of the difference in size hole you're seeing may be because each material can react a little different to the heat of the drill bit. :D
Go have another granola bar.
Sunday Woods :)
Your photo is gorgeous!

Hope both of you that are visiting docs today have good visits with good reports. Keep us updated!

I'm excited about something today. lol My daughter came up with a brilliant idea. All the kids have gotten a special ornament signifying something they enjoyed or did each year... they each have their own box for their collection. Well... new granddaughter has nothing. Not a single baby picture, let alone an ornament. (She'd never even had a stuffed animal until a foster mom gave her one last year.) So... several of us are putting together a collection of ornaments to reflect her life starting with 'baby's first Christmas' and so on, up to this coming Christmas. She is going to LOVE it!
This is the ornament I've got on the way. I'm excited about how perfect it is for her! Because "There's no place like home".... and she's finally home now. And of course they sparkle... she's a sparkly sort of girl. ;)

Okay... enough of my mushy grandma stuff. :D I've got a nice crop of tips to show you! Be back soon!

Beautiful MommaB...I especially love the red and black. Is that a wide bore tip? I don't much care for most of them...but this one is very pretty on that setup.

Thanks cat :) It is a wide bore and I had it on there temporarily. I have wide bores on all of my drippers. Pic below-the one on the Panzer is bigger than I like but I bought in on a whim at VapeMania ;) I like the wide bores on my drippers that are average size. Basically, the wide bore helps with airflow. Please excuse the massive patina on two of them-haven't had a chance to polish them. The Vanilla mod has a clear coat on her ;)

I wish that Kayte and Doug did wide bores but as far as I know they don't.

She was quite pleasant too..I dropped my phone fumbling with it trying to turn it on vibrate when I got a text while she was talking with me. She picked it up off the floor and wiped it off too! I'm a clutz anyway but around really purdy girls it gets 10 times worse..lmbo

So glad that test is over for you Momma..them things hurt! I think even worse than 9 shots to the back even. :(

haha .....nothing like a mid day flirt to lighten the worry Sir ever since I got married I have lost my drive to flirt with women tho. I don't mind gabbing a bit. but I know how easy it is to get in trouble and my wife and kids are literally everything to me. of course you don't have that issue......... true love conquers all

I was the perfect babbling gentleman Hempy..with a lot of umm ahhhhs and such. My mouth just wouldn't work..lol

Mommabird, an unusual but pretty combo that Purple Eruption. :)

Kayte, your dau. is a very talented, imaginative and lovingly thoughtful person! Wonder where she got it frrom..... ;-)

I thought so too Chooch :) Emerald Queen will always adorn the emerald Provari but I thought those colors could go on something else nicely. It's not showing sold on the website tho. But I did get a paypal verification.

Awesome mods and tips Momma. ;)

TY I love my girls and this hobby! funny thing happened the other day when I was in one of my fave B@Ms. I was shooting the bull with the owner and some other guys and this young fella looked over at me and the mods that I had with me and said " I really think it's cool seeing older women getting into the hobby"

Well the owners eyes got real big and he looked at me to see my reaction. I looked at him real serious and said "How old do you think I am"? Well, he bout crawled in a hole and started stammering.....Then I just laughed and told him that I was just messing with him and it didn't bother me. And, that it was refreshing to see young whipper snappers getting of the cigs LOL

Purple Eruption only one left! But, Mommabird, you bought that one. Someone adopted Raspberry. :) So, our plate is totally empty in 40 min. :p

I got it I think, but it's still showing available for some reason. I got a Paypal receipt immediately so maybe there is a website glitch? It could have gotten sold several times if thats the case. Oh well, time will tell.
