Dale, does everybody pitch in and bring a dish or two or three? If not, delegate, delegate! Dance to the mu-u-usic! Our children somehow think we're are Wonder Woman and never get tired and can fix anything. :w00t: Wel-l-l-, okay, we can;........ but they must become Wonder People in training too! :p

Our daughter who is now 23 helps quite a bit these days and DH is learning to :D
Mom brings something if she is able.

Hemp't, from where is your Provi? And when and where did they announce the shiny and black??

On another note, and forgive the intrusion, but some of you may be interested... and it's sure in support of our favorite tip makers!

Gregory Conley posted in We Are CASAA a couple of days back and encouraged all of us to support Conrad James of the Kayte State of New Mexico.

    Here is what he said.

"VAPERS & VENDORS! For years politically active vapers have dreamed of assembling and helping knock an anti e-cig politician out of office. We have an opportunity in New Mexico, but we need to act fast.

All indications are that New Mexico State Rep. Liz Thomson, who I gave testimony before earlier this week, will lead the call in 2015 to tax e-cigarettes, ban flavors, classify e-cigs as tobacco, and ban usage everywhere smoking is banned. She is that bad.

BUT she just so happens to be involved in **the closest political race** in all of New Mexico. She won election in 2012 by only 300 votes and her opponent, Conrad James, is a former representative with a strong pro-business record (and he's a Ph.d in applied physics). I have talked to him and have faith that he will be 100x better on our issue than Rep. Thomson.

Donations of $5 or more will help Conrad purchase mailers, radio ads, etc. in these last 2 1/2 campaign weeks. I am cheap, so I would not have given $50 of my own money to his campaign if I did not believe we had a genuine opportunity to make an example of a detestable politician.

New Mexico is a beautiful state with abundant resources and lots of opportunities..."

And....... I'm ALL about shenanigans! Geeze, that's my middle name! :D

One last thing: Kayte, how do you feel about Daylight Saving Time? ;)

Okay, here's another idea. Our family is so spread out and seldom here for the holidays that I quit cooking for two days for just the two of us, but I so missed having the leftovers of a "real" turkey and making turkey soup out of the carcass. So, what we found is that a couple of our grocery stores (Public's and BiLo) cook up a turkey dinner with fixin's. I was pretty leary at first and the turkey didn't look as pretty as mine, but, holy cow, was the meat good! Nice and juicy. The fixin's include the mashed potatoes and giblet gravy, string beans with mushrooms and sauce and topped with fried onion rings, candied sweet potatoes with walnuts. I must have cranberry sauce, pickles, olives and I do make "Grandma's Coleslaw" which uses a vinegar/oil/water/sugar base to cut the heaviness of the rest of the food.

Lots left over for days of noshing, but that's for just two or three of us. However, minimum effort, and you can enjoy the day too! We've tried going to eat out in several different cities we've lived and never did find a place to satisfy us. Sides it aint Thanksgiving unless a ballgame is playing in the background. :p

I'm back =) Didja miss me?

Going through some necessary computer changes to upgrade my hardware and mobility. Hubby is sloooooowly getting the new 512gb ssd on my main machine installed and working. I wouldn't let him begin til I got this lil Leovo lappytop, which will be for business purposes in the end. For now, it is getting me used to Windows 7 all over (perhaps a good thing... I'm learning it a LOT better in the Comfy Chair with my feets up)

I told hubbs he HAS to have the big fast machine ready by tomorrow, so I can power up my super secret strats for girls night!!!

In other news, the Big Guy has a swollen hindleg, and is feeling very sorry for himself while he heals. I'm feeling sorry for MY self cause I could be taking fantastic leaf peep pics from his back, but one does not rush a horse in his healing. Like everything else about the horse, it'll happen when it happens and not a minute sooner!

Missed you all terribly for a couple days there...it's good to be home once again!

Sure wish I could vote for him (not my district) but will share his info and help him out as I can!

Daylight Saving Time? Oh... it's no big deal.

NOT. Hate is not a strong enough word. Loath. I loath it. :D

That sounds wonderful to me at this point.
My turkey's never look amazing. They fall into a hundred parts taking them out of the roaster. It is handy because they debone themselves.

Of course we missed you! Glad you gave hubby a deadline on getting everything set up!

I'm heading over to work on tips. Colors colors all kinds of colors. :D

Well Kayte, I'm hoping there is something blue in there, because I just picked up a pretty blue ProVari in the classies and I'm going to need something to go with it! :D

    YAY for blue! ;)

I was just looking over the videos. Some of these are cracking me up! Ya'll are going to have to get into my humor mode. :D Due to the hours I'm putting in making these, I'll be leaving them up for a little while (later Friday night or sometime Sat.) I know no one will have time to watch them during the 'race'.

Good evening...hope everyone is doing well, busy week here but the weather has been lovely. I don't plan to be around Friday night..but who knows things change around here all the time:laugh: I don't need any more vape gear..so probably shouldn't even peek if I'm around. Hubby will leave for his annual hunting trip next weekend which will give me time to organize everything, determine what I'm not using to either PIF or sell. I've just reached a place where I'm so happy with everything I'm using, don't get frustrated and it's wonderful.

Local shop Kat. The owners are really cool. And have been keeping me in the loop on everything happening. They are available to vendors now. And when the choice was available. I had to have the black.

Cool Vapes is the name of the shop. They ship. And they are listed on the provape website as an authorized dealer

Hubby was busy at my computer after he got home from work, so I went back out to the barn and cold hosed my beast's leg. It must have felt good, because he stood quietly (once he'd secured the stack of carrots I had handy), and sighed with relief when I rubbed his owie down afterward with half a tube of willow cream I found in my medicine cabinet. I feel like a more responsible horse mommy now!! He was limping much less pathetically after my tender ministrations.

Oh, and just noticed...today is my ten month vapeaversary! So very happy with how I feel and smell without those cigs! I can truly smell how horsey I am after the barn, and how badly I need a shower LOL!

Fair warning: I'm having my claws trimmed Friday morning so I can be quicker on the draw =) *wink*

Oh the insanity ensues! Counting down only two more days yippee skippee! Hope I am not stuck in traffic when the clock runs out and the madness starts!
Also many have mentioned rescues, we are working with abandoned kittens right now, one I literally just got to finally start drinking the milk replacement, she was not doing well, had to add pumpkin to her diet to get her tummy feeling better, she finally ate some chicken tonight! Had them for about two weeks now! It is busy work for sure! Well better get some zzzzzzzs

Horsey guy is just a trip. He trotted flawlessly over to me when I went to the barn today, cause, huge apple in my hand. I asked him "so how's the leg, mister?" He held it out at an awkward angle and looked as pathetic as a guy with his face full of apple can manage...STINKER!
He's feeling better though...the swelling is all down and it only seems to bother him if he puts some thought into it, or steps on a rock wrong.

Came home to find my new Sigelei 100 watt box in my mail, along with a delicious bottle of Nicoticket Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake! Can't wait to see this box topped with a spankin new sparkly from girls night out!
