A good for instance Smiley..I've been obsessing over this tip for quite some time. Doug has no idea what Amboyna Burl it came from..but, when I'm ready I'll e-mail him this photo and add, " Just do the best you can to match it please." What he comes up with won't be the exact match..which is fine.

Oh this tip was meant to be in Sirius's paws for sure hon.

I'm a firm believer in this, now. I was bummed to not have funds and missed when the reds came out, but it was still there in the shop when I happened by. It Waited for Me!

Hope everyone is off to a good and happy Saturday. I'm dressed and ready to head out to the clinic. We aren't open on Saturdays but I have a hospitalized kitty this weekend. He needs feeding and medicating. Already improving after a few days with me at the clinic. He's one of our shelter kitties. I'm sure he'll be fine once I convince the shelter staff that he DOes need to stay on the special diet.

And he's a sweet boy and very good about taking his meds.

I'm off. Vape happy!

Aww..good luck with the kitteh Emmsma. He sounds like a little sweetheart. How did the daydream go Sirius? That is an amazing tip. The burl part reminds me of that constant storm & 'the great red spot' on Jupiter.
Hope everyone is having a good day. Off to get chickn' and dumplin' supplies...yes I have embraced and learned a few things about Southern cooking since I have been here.
We say "yall", and you had better know how to make biscuits, cinnamon buns, and grits. Oh and darn good chicken.

You got that chicken part right hon..I grew up on that and fish..I don't think I ever even ate a steak until I was a teenager. Nobody still can fry a chicken like my Grandma did in that big old black cast iron frying pan. Or make her gravy and biscuits either.
