A quick question to anyone who wants to help and answer this question. I read on a website to not use their acrylic tips on Boge tanks because the heat can damage them. However, in a lot of the pics I see, they seem to be on tanks that are similar to the ones I use, Boge F17. Do I need to worry about damaging my tips??? Thanks!! :)

Lucy, all of my MM acrylic tips are on dual-coil carto tanks. I'm not having any issues so far.

Hi! I use boge cartos 95% of the time. I have never had a problem using the acrylic and acrylic blend tips with them and I have several MM drip tips. I have had no problems using my wood tip from here with boges either.

I use my MHM drip tips on everything from cartos (every kind) to RBAs and I've never had any issue. I  them.
Thanks catcat! Thanks peeps! That makes me feel better. I'd be really bummed if something bad were to happen to the tips. I'm not worried about it anymore! :)

Thought I'd give you all an update. Wonderlands broken tip arrived and had 'emergency surgery' yesterday.
Hawaiian Punch was a little nervous before the surgery.. especially after seeing the operating room with the big lathe, glue and turning instruments:

But, surgery went well and in no time at all he was resting comfortably in recovery:

Within a few hours he was feeling much better and ready to make the return trip home:

He'll have a slight limp, but all in all, the surgery seems to have been a success.

And yes... I obviously didn't have enough to do yesterday.:lol::lol:
