Any chance that you have more of what made the Golden Dragon or Earth's Core?
Thanks yiddleboge!
I know there's still a tiny bit of Golden Dragon (enough for 1 medium size tip) and Doug said he'll see if there is any Earth's Core left in the morning. :D

hi everyone,

been out sick, severe sinus infection, migraines, and a general attitude of just smother me with the pillow please for the past 2 weeks.

Gonna ask a question
How often do y'all clean your tips??
The past 2 days I have had this smell following me everywhere I went. I sniffed everything, even the parts of me, that shouldnt need sniffing, lolol
I could not figure it out.
Ok, I've been using the same tip with all kinds of juice flavors going thru it, and havent cleaned it, in well never...

So, guess what, yep the long /tall mouth piece tip was the culprit. Funny tho- when I vaped with it, it didn't smell.

A note on that tho- I have been using clearo's from innokin with an adapter for tips. I truly believe the smell was from what was between the tip and the adapter.

Anyone else have this problem, or anyone notice (that DIY's) any particular flavor that can smell bad?

Katye, Doug,

whew, i was scerred thinking you would have something truly gorgeous, that i would have to buy, I'm safe for now hee hee

As usual it looks wonderful, I have a few that share the same shape, but this one is thinner I think. Still have to find which one of my PV will suits him best though. Right now that Wenge/Ebony Grip is the happy winner :)
Looks great!! I love the segmented tips!! Wouldn't it be fun to have a new box mod with the same segmented design? :D

Sorry to hear you've been sick and hope you're feeling better!!

I'm terrible about cleaning my tips. When I do, I generally clean them with cheap mouthwash (don't use good stuff. It's too strong and might damage the acrylic.) Just the cheap blue generic mouthwash. Then I drop them in a little cup of vinegar. It's a good antibacterial. The vinegar smell goes away before long and it's good to go again. I think other people use cheap vodka.

I haven't had any of mine develop a smell like what you're describing. There are a few certain acrylics that can have a bad chemical taste/smell if they aren't properly cured during the making. The 'soaking in mouthwash and vinegar' trick generally takes care of that, too. I've also heard that low heat (70 to 80 degree's... like a heater vent) will take care of it, but I haven't ever tried it. Doesn't sound like that's the issue you're having though.

Where do I need to sign? Just imagine what a PV would look like if Doug took care of it... Oooops, I think I just drooled all over the keyboard thinking about it :D
Wouldn't they be amazing?! I think we'll be waiting a long, long time for that to happen. lol

I don't have any wooden ones, just the acrylic, I clean mine when I am done using them with a certain juice. Because they will smell and taste like that juice if I just popped them on a new tank or carto with different juice on it. So I get a few together and soak them in a cup with either water and a little bit of dish soap in it, or watered down hydrogen peroxide. Then I rinse really really well in water, blow them out and dry them all shiny. :)
