Often they can be fixed... it depends on how it breaks. If it's shattered into a billion pieces, yeah... it's toast. But if it's a clean break we can most likely rescue it.

Doug has to go see if he can find a chuck key for the drill press today. Poor guy. But it will totally be worth it so we can continue with a new project we've been working on. Hopefully I'll have some tips to show late this afternoon or evening. Have a great day everyone!

hi there v It's not the tip you saw. Hawaiian Punch was in the Molehill Hospital when we got together (you met Silver Storm). Doug already fixed it once for me (and he did a wonderful job). It's the only thing I don't like about the ZAP: it's so easy to knock the top cap off and send your drip tip flying! It broke in the same spot as the first time and it's going into retirement/Hall of Fame.

I know this is off topic, but it might save a future Molehill so I am gonna put it here anyway: If your top cap on the ZAP comes off too easily, it might just be an o-ring problem. Mine does not come off easily at all; in fact, I can pick up the chrome in 18650 mode ProVari by the ZAP mine fits so well. You may be able to find something on that in a ZAP thread, or have an extra o-ring you could try?

My Cosmos (aka Cyclops) broke (sob) in a fall from my hand to the tile floor. The metal REO took not a scratch, but the "neck" of my acrylic was cleanly broken off the tip. Which taught me to be very careful with my wood REO's and custom wood molehill's and not allow them away from the couch on carpet. I may just send the acrylic to the hospital now that I know it is possible but then I wouldn't have to stalk this thread now would I?

I like how you are experimenting with different styles. I would love to see some shorter, more standard size tips. You could still get creative with some ridges or flares on tip , but shorter or straighter. I love that red colour.

I have bigger mods and a robust. The robust it a tad fatter then the spinner... Next I would love a stand for my robust. Then I shall see it for myself, if possible. .
