Dadgum Kayte! You guys are killing me here!!!
You know I love that Amboyna Wood!!

I'm of the mind that everyone needs at least one thing made out of Amboyna burl. It IS regarded as the most beautiful wood in the world, ya know. :p:D
I told Doug I wanted just one thing made from Amboyna burl. A wood floor. That's just ONE thing.:laugh::laugh: The floor would be worth more than my house!

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great Sunday and found time to relax. :)

Wills... I found the right color for you turquoise box mod! At least the color in my hand goes really well with the photo of the box. Doug will be starting them tomorrow. :D (I just poured it last night. The below is a tip from it. Unfortunately, the color isn't exact. Of course!)

Turquoise Shimmer - Acrylic ---- The first picture is how it came out of the camera. The 2nd photo of it is after I've adjusted it to make it closer to the real color. So the 2nd is the one you want to look at for color! The first is to show the brightness and shimmery'ness. :)

Wow what a difference in color:blink:
    I love the chocolate :D
Oooo, & hubby reallly likes my new Crimson & Cream I got today:D
    Don't have to justify,
Isn't it?! The camera changes things so much sometimes and I don't have a good program to make it right. Fortunately photobucket has an okay editing thing so I could at least get closer to the real color! I try to make them as much like the real thing as I can... and sometimes it's just not happening. At least I warn ya.

YAY! Glad he liked the Crimson and Cream and you didn't have to figure out a way to justify it.:laugh::laugh: I'm hoping you really liked it too! ;)

    Hi MatrixTech!
Thanks! We're hunting through our stash to see if we have any of that left. If not, I've pulled out some possibilities. We may be able to track down more of that particular acrylic (and will get on it tomorrow) but it'll take about a week - to order/ship/make the tip. In the meantime, if you'd like, Doug can make the blues we have and see if you like any of them. :) It'll probably be Friday before he can do it.

Let me make sure I've got the shape right -- shorter (somewhere around 1 3/8"?), ming vase shape but with a flat bottom surface. Right? :D
