Dumb question. Would charging my MVP off of my cell phone's USB be a bad thing?

I do it all the time with both my MVP2.0 for a long time in fact the charging cable that came with it is still in the box, never has been used and now with my MVP20w and haven't had a problem. But I don't use gerntic cords to charge my phone, I use the one that came with my Motorola phones.

Well and I am slowly getting used to the size of the MVP 20 and I am happy to have backup all the time. I still take Ego's when I go out and about and have found some that work really well for me and go up to 10 watt. My favorite is the white eleaf iJust D16 with the white Aerotank Mow. It even has a digital display and USB Pass-through and just looks a little more feminine.

I use the MVP at home and in the car or when the others are charging.

I happy to see you have decided to keep your MVP20w!

that makes me happy that you are becoming HAPPY with the cool BOX !
I thought you said you couldn’t use it because of physical reasons
and that was just way too bad for me to hear...:(

soon it will become part of you and the transformation will be complete :D

:)

Yep that is pretty much what I do. In the beginning I took ego and VV V3 to work and left the MVPs at home.
I drive a lot on the job and started taking the MVPs along. I can't vape inside so I just leave it all in the van.

I seem to always have MVP with me, I adore it
with that said it is nice to use the small light egos here & there
I ALWAYS have an ego in my pocket for the odd time I left
my MVP sit and wondered away temporarily (doh !) (650 eMax VV 12w)
hate to say it (jinx) but with MVP, you don’t need a back up…

Awesome. This is my first mod. And I never thought I would want a box. But I'm loving it.
Don't know if I'll ever even use the full 20 watts.

unless you are DEAD AGAINST ‘the box’ they seem to grow on you
solid hand fit, stand up, don’t roll, batt life, etc. …
yep, who cares about the 20W; BUT if you ever want it – it’s there

:)

Hi fellow MVP'ers, I just got my new MVP 20W out of the mailbox, it's warming up before I charge it. I ordered it from Vapor Beast for $29.99 with free shipping and it got lost by USPS for a couple weeks. A call to Vapor Beast, and they sent another right away.
I ordered a silicone sleeve from Mad Town Vapers for $4.99 with a free shipping coupon. I already have one of their silicone sleeves on my MVP 2 and I love it.
I've got a new tank and new coil ready to go with "Hot Cocoa" from the local B&M. I couldn't be happier! Just wanted to share...

The reason I wanted another MVP was because my 2.0 version wasn't taking or holding a charge.
Well, I noticed the button on the bottom was "ON", so I turned it off and it fixed the charging issue.
There's also part of a broken off adapter stuck inside the threads, but it still works!
Amazing...it's also been dropped a million times.

glad you told us...

wow ! sounds pretty ‘stand up’ of vapor beast...

haha, mistakes happen, cool that ya figured it out before declaring war ! :p

I get enough vape of the 10 Watt ego's and I do prefer the lighter weight, more elegant look of the white set that I have BUT with those I need the MVP as a backup :)

Thanks guys. The charging cable that came in the box is just too short to vape in bed with.

My biggest issue with the white cable that came with my MVP20W is that it does not sit tight and flush on the device.

However the Cable from my Blackberry is perfect and I have 2 of them with wall chargers that I use.

Also a couple of older Iphone chargers that take USB cables. Work great.

Is anyone familiar with the mvp v3 or is the version 4 that has the built in USB cable??

It is the 3 that has the cable. Dimitri and Phil both have reviews posted on youtube. Just hitting stores this week.

Paul said it true ;)

all MVP’s had capability to OUT charge…
•11W/2600 - USB out with ON/OFF switch (v1 & v2)
•20W/2600 - USB out with ON/OFF switch (v20W)
•30W/3800 – USB attached onboard cable for pwr out (v3.0)
>speculation has version 4 as 40W +> with maybe an Evolv chip,
a satellite phone, MP3 player, GPS, atomic clock, solar charge,
umbrella, invisabilty feature, 10,000mah all in a package you wear
as a pair of sunglasses costing less than $10 bucks…

>>then version 5 will be no device, just mind controlling chip
to make you THINK you have nicotine intake... (tax that !)

what ? - it could happen - at least some seem to think it can...
