My MVP arrived today together with Aspire nautilus.
Must admit I was surprised at the size of the MVP. After watching all the video reviews and various blog comments stating that it was quite a size to hold;
I'd invested in a 24hr body-building course to cope with the anticipated weight. :D Obviously not required and it came fully charged which was a bonus.

Loving it so far. How long does it take to recharge and can it be left on overnight ?

haha, seems everyone sez that "wow, not as big as I thought"
(I did my first encounter @ a B&M)

congrats on making the choice :D

if you choose to use the 'side thumb' technique
muscles might get sore at that point...

I do agree with you, however in my case after watching youtube videos and complaints mostly about clones, plus looking at fake ads I decided to buy the real Kayfun lite. Believe me I enjoy saving money, but I'll also go out and spend $400.00 on a new Callaway driver.

Here is the svoemesto logo:

Here is a fake clone using the svoemesto logo.

$25.84 Kayfun Lite Plus V2 Style Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5ml) - 1:1 clone / stainless steel / PVD coating at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Check out the box and logo on the atty. :(

I have a SS version of this clone, without airflow control and it works great for me. The only reason I am interested in an Authentic Mech, is the clone I have is a piece of garbage and I wanted to have ONE good copper Mech as a show piece. After using this particular authentic and not seeing any clones of it, I am confident and not regretting my upcoming purchase/swap for my IPV.

I would rather use a regulated device, but I am gonna wait to see who wins the 100 watt, dual battery, box mod war over the next few months and get it after I have read A LOT of reviews by users like all of you in different threads.

Most of the stuff I have is cloned atty's, except for MVP is authentic. There are some darn nice clones and some terrible ones. I have a terrible Patriot clone and a Great Stillare clone, both from Fasttech. I have a Tugboat clone and a Vulcan clone RDA's on the way.

MVP and KFL salute to my MVP owner family

With clones you really got to do your homework ,

I do agree with you, however in my case after watching youtube videos and complaints mostly about clones,

:2c:

cloning, ethics - most everything is a copy of something

but trying to ‘fool’ a buyer into thinking they’re buying
an original piece of property – Is Just Wrong, IMO

some cloned items are better that its copied from counterpart...

clones that I know are such, and the price reflects it,
I guess I’m OK with that…

Well, I said Id offer a pic of my MVP when I got a chance. Sorry the pic is crappy quality and my setup isnt as snazzy as many of you, but it works awesome :D

View attachment 368493

Youll notice I have a divider box now for juice, syringes, wicking, coils, etc.. I figured when I started Id just use a Protank and replace the coils, and now here I am with a kit slowly being built up. Now I just need a backup APV and ill be safely on the vape train. Trying to avoid temptations to buy an RDA :p

i started out with a small tackle box, now i gotta suitcase type tacklebox, shini stuff collect's quickly; set-up looks fine man enjoy :D

I've had my MVP 2 for about 4 months now and today all of the sudden it's showing a resistance of 0.0 with everything I put on it. If I unscrew the RDA or tanks it shows NON but when they are on all the way 0.0. any suggestions or ideas as to what could be wrong?

the Capt is rite on the money, you definitely gotta pin issue!

i'm an ole Butler Bear if that means anything, grew up off Ralph Ave in Shively.....welcome & hollar if ya want!

The only clones i would buy are all copper and made by the likes of H.Cigar, EH pro and Infinite . They are superb according to veterans in the" ask the veterans" forum, i would never pay top dollar for an authentic copper mod , but thats just me.

thanks herb......i tell ya man i bought in on the group buy on the Sir Lancalot Copper Mod by chance and i feel like i made out like a bandit it's one of the best Mods i have it's solid all the way around....i also like HCigar & Tobeco....EH Pro has quality but there tube threading is usually not 20x1 and that is one of the main features i look for in a Tube Mod, Hybrid accessory-wise.

i wish i had the money & patients to get authentic stuff, i have one authentic and thinking about the Super T-WorkHorse but come next week they will prob be gone by then; if not i might pull the trigger.
i'm reasonably content with my MVP and other stuff as of now, i think the Itis is calming down a bit :D

wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the B-Day wishes, it means a-lot to me; you all are an awesome bunch of folks!.....i'm having a pretty good day :vapor:

Subscribed to this thread and saying hello! I've been reading the old thread, but after still not even being remotely half way through it I figured I'd best say hello!
New owner to an MVP 2 Shine for about a week and my very first box mod type. I can't believe I stayed away from these for so long. I thought they would be inelegant; I was wrong!

This, an Aspire Nautilus, 7W dialed in, and SB Mother's Milk... I'm in heaven!

hello Desertfremen, welcome to the club :toast:

a pleasure to have ya aboard

- - - - - - - - - - -

and welcome to all new comers

this thread moves so fast, ya blink your eyes
and 20 pages gets behind you...

jump in , chat , tell what color ya got, if you're thinking of getting one,

if ya have holes in your socks, do you watch mud wrastling...

"and welcome to all new comers" Thanks, puff :)

jump in , chat , tell what color ya got, if you're thinking of getting one, I got a black with diamond design, and blue crystals! I actually just took whatever the guy behind the counter gave me, didn't even know there were different designs. He said he picked it for me, but I was clueless until I opened the box! HAHA Thank goodness I love it.

if ya have holes in your socks, do you watch mud wrastling... no, and no. HAHAHA

Alright, lets make sure we are talking about clones and not counterfeits , the FT versions are clearly known to be clones , the ones said to be 1:1 clones have all the exact same markings as the real deal but they are, for the most part not even close quality wise .

Sometimes you luck out and get a real good one but at FT it's even less likely , if you want top notch clone quality it's best to stick with the manufacturers i mentioned above.

My point was only about that you can get excellent quality clones for much chaper $$ but you can also get crappy quality clones if your not careful.

If you got the $$ and don't mind paying more than you can't go wrong with the real deal on a Kayfun.

I just went to the link you provided at FT and found this comment :

There are many high quality Kayfuns sold here at FastTech, however this is not one of them.

My point exactly about taking your time and observing the dates of the reviews , this model was reviewed a few weeks ago and obviously not up to par .

No airflow , man i don't know how you do it . No clones of the mod you want ? What is it exactly , must be good , my point was only to not get you to believe that just because your clone didn't turn out well there are others that i'm sure are better .

Some people will judge all clones on one bad experience they had , i know your a lot more experienced than that though,

Yeah, i don't have any tube mods , i like box mods and that Kato box mod is stunning , all mechanical .

I think Ekowool , silica etc.. is still great for taste , now i hear people raving about Ramie for wicking saying it even blows Rayon away for taste . I heard Readywick is fantastic as well .

You got a Veritas , awesome . I heard it's the best of all of them for taste but it's kind of a PITA to build on . I am blown away with my Magma , i thought dripper's sucked until i tried the Magma , "wow" .

yep the Veritas is a b--ch to build with dual coils, the trick is to build your 2 coils then wrap the legs together then attach like you would with a single coil (one neg post will be unused)..........now if you just want a single coil set-up it's great, i'm using a 0.96 single coil on mine rite now and i'm putting out clouds of Vapor......i like the vertical well set-up and you can either drip down the tip or the air-hole and you can lay it down (air-hole up) and it holds plenty of wicking material & jooze; taste is above average.....the Magma is hard to beat, imo it's Superior in every way.
