I'm about to chunk both of my Nautis in the trash... Is there a dang clearo that just works? I'm so sick of flooding issues...

I agree, sometimes they are flawless and others it's juice in the mouth. I never had any issues until I bought 2 minis and the BVC's. My OG nautilus still works great. I have to run my MVP at 11watts for any hope with the mini's...

I'm still having grand success with my single coil bcc's on my (lo-po) MVP & eGo's

these SMOK clearos with kanger bcc’s are dirt cheap and work
wonderful for me (depends on your luck with kanger bcc coils)
SMOK coils ain’t bad neither…
both are simple and cheap to build & maintain

I have two of these Evod tanks and I love them too. Easy to peasy to use and to rebuild

:2c: so some things that caught my interest as of late…

• I see the new Aspire BVC Coil Head (non-nautilus) are starting to trickle in,
hope these are as effective as what I read about the mini nautilus bvc…
- Aspire / Vapeonly BVC Replacement Coil Head
tho a little pricey, imagine this as your first start kit
- Aspire K1 Carbon BVC 900mAh Starter Kit

• then the new style coil that allows you to adjust or calibrate your juice flow…
so putting it all together, SMOK has – bdc, ceramic, ribbon wire, adjustable coils
times are-a-changing
- Adjustable Replacement Bottom Dual Coil Head for Micro Core ADC II Clearomizer | SmokTek.com

• and the Eleaf iStick 20w Compact VV/VW Device sure sounds exciting
maybe more important to me is that, if they can put together this package,
at this entry price point, what is Innokin coming up with…

• at this moment, my favorite new tank is a new EVOD Glass
the look, the size, the mini protank base, glass, drip tip, the cost,
it is simple and vapes full force, a stunning upgrade of the original – I'm really enjoying it (kinda surpirsed)
- $6.36 Authentic eVod Glass BDC Clearomizer - 1.5ml / 1.5ohm / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I should alter my bio, I m in north west England Sando ... so no muskies but we do have some big pike, would love to fish for the big cats, or the sturgeon up in Canada

Columbia River sturgeon. I guess fishing wasn't expensive enough so I moved on. If e-cigs had been around at the time it would have saved me a few burn holes in the seats! The MVP would have been the perfect device on the boat.

I never have flooding issues with my T3S tanks as long as I keep a good vacuum.
That's with stock coils, and hand made coils, all with various wick combos.

Once I get below 1mL I can have trouble if it tilts over too far.
Below the post seal (~ 0.6 ml) and it get prone to flooding.

If only it wasn't so small. I stick with my T3S because I can go all day w/o refilling the 3mL tank.

love my T3S’s & mini T3S (3ml & 1.5m) (& T3’D)

:2c: evod glass size
how I look at it, if you had a 4ml tank (full) and changed your mind
½ way thru (2ml) and wanted to change flavor (etc) I would never
put the left over 2ml BACK into the juice bottle because it is tainted…

my point is, from my experience, after you cook, heat, atomize
about 2ml of juice, what is left is stale, blah, lacking the fresh…

so my ideal size is 1.5ml – 2.0ml, then re-fill with fresh sweet juice…

it’s not that big of a deal to carry & add juice – sorta reminds me of
‘packin’ and opening a pac-of-smokes (well maybe)
so that’s just my perspective and why I like that size of tanks...

my ideal tank: {1.8ml-ego threads-afc-single coil-glass-drip tip} :D

was building an order and seen the lil EVOD Glass and thought
ehh-what the heck, & added it to cart
well I was very surprised how very cool it is…

if you remember the phenomenon with the mini protank
many loved (and still do) the mechanics of that tank
just something about the blend of size, air/fluid ratio, draw…

eVod just works exellent - superb build quality
never used it as intended in bdc mode, started it out
with a converted bdc into single coil…

so I wasn’t really expecting much, then started using it and now
I’ve grown rather fond of the little thing…

:)

Love my MVP v2!

Kind of a n00b kind of question, but I can't post anymore new threads in the n00b forum. LOL. I didn't realize my postcount had escalated so quickly.

Anyhow, why are the mode buttons labeled "u" and "p"? On the display, too. Also why is the ohm meter "a"? Like I said, n00b stuff. Sorry. Only been doing this for 3 weeks.

hello and welcome

it's just about the ability of the readout

"U" is V
"P" = power (watts)
"A" is R (resistance)

just have to get down-n-dirty sometimes and dream up some combo
with maybe a -Tank Airflow Controller, plinths, cones etc…

it can get tricky, my solution was using these and a LIGHT touch threading devices on
- https://store.vapeny.com/product/circuit-board-spacer/
madvapes just upgraded their site and since have been torturous slow

- Tornado eGo-C Slim 510 adapter | Totally Wicked
- eGo -eGo Adapter
- Ego Cone - Accessories
- http://www.madvapes.com/510-to-ego-adapter-with-well.html?acc=70efdf2ec9b086079795c442636b55fb
- Tank Airflow Controller

:)

Thanks for your help Pufz ... I love this forum

I think what I need is the ege - ego adapter ( rather than the ego - 510 I m using now ), and the ego cone

I ll let you know how I get on

Just for future reference, does the standard Kanger single element atty fit the evod glass bdc topper ? tia

Anyone has any experience witb mvp2 and aerotank mega regarding battery life? Thnks in advance :)

Not so much with the aerotank, but I'm sporting full-sized Nautiluses on my MVPs. I think it depends on your coil resistance and your Volt/Watt settings. I'm a pretty heavy vaper (I run 1.8Ω coils at about 10.5W,) and so many folks claim that their MVPs last a couple of days - I can vape through a fully-charged MVP in a day quite easily. That's why I have three of 'em now :)

Anyone have any advice on the upgraded Kanger coils? I vaped an entire tank of ITC Dirty Dutchman without even a hint of a dry hit, filled the tank back up with Gold RY4 and now she's dry hitting quite a bit...
Ergh. Got nothing' for you, brother. I rebuild my coils. Did you try dry-burning to clean the head?

Sent from.... ooh look! Something shiny!!!

I was so happy when my little town opened a new vape shop in town. THEN I went in to check it out. Ugh! They had never vaped before and their selection was overpriced and almost nonexistent. The only device they had was a MVP. Not a MVP2, but the original. They were only charging $69.95 because of the grand opening. Oh well, back to the internet.

My ADV is really all day, so no problems there ;)
Never had flavor issues. Sure it darkens some (even a lot) but the flavor is not affected.
I just refill when it get low the next day (rinsing completely weekly)

I change to a different tank for trying others (Got 4 or 5 of them).
2 usually have something I'll use for a few hours, but usually only 1.5-2mL in them.

Then I do carry extra liquid, batteries, and a spare tank in case something "goes wrong"

I am pretty sure that answer is YES. I use the same coils for the Protank as I use for my EVODs, the chimney that comes with the EVOD is taller though.
Someone correct me if I am wrong:facepalm:

at 1.8 ohm new dual coil with 8.5-10w it takes me a bit more than a half day(650 puffs). Is that normal? aww and thnks for the fast response! :)
