oh sorry Steve... a few of us totally ruined Dexter for Flitzanu... by accident...

Its alright Grimm ... We'll slowly catch up to everyone :)

ahh yes. I love Netflix. So many old shows I've watched all the way through on the Instant service.

Not the greatest quality, but it gets the job done! :)

lol ... I always wanted the live streaming for Netflix, but they didn't have it available for the PS3 for the longest time. They had it available for the XBOX, but no PS3 love. They finally added the PS3 to the list and it has made us extremely happy. We have soooo many uses with the PS3. :)

We have been using ours and absolutely LOVE it!!! We just got done with the Dexter Marathon! :)

That's what me and the Mrs are in the middle of right now !!! We love our show marathons!!!! What season did you get through Kimmberlee?

We did Season 1 & 2 through Netflix and ordered Season 3 through the mail... we are going to be watching Disc 3 of Season 3 next! That show ROCKS!!

Hubby and I had Season 4 ending ruined for us too.... so many people talking about it... but it doesn't matter. We don't know everything... just a little!

Now we just need to know when Season 4 will make it on disc??? Anyone know?

yeah I got the PS3 disc for my son to use when they released it. He was happy that he didn't have to hook his laptop to his TV in order to watch it anymore.

Kimmberlee I just took a quick look and couldn't find a set release date for it yet. Usually most TV shows are released on DVD not long before the next season starts though.

But there are always other ways to watch it online ;)

I somehow have showtime, so I've kept up with Dexter easily, for some of the shows we miss we use free sites like ninjavideo.net (which looks a little fishy, but no viruses, safe site, although some videos don't always play) and hulu, which is ok, but has adds, doesn't have as many show as ninjavideo and is a lil nastier to navigate imho.
We got a thingy at wally world for about $25 that pipes the computer to the TV (like a second monitor - turns svideo out into coax cable in) and the quality isn't fantastic, but neither is our TV so it evens out :)
I mean free is free, right?

I really don't watch a lot of TV, mostly listen to classical or chamber music (really).
When I do it's usually the science channel or Discovery HD but I do love a few of the series on Showtime and HBO.
I'll record a bunch of episodes and then catch up on rainy weekends :)
Dexter, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Tara and Trueblood Rock..

You should get a Roku box instead of using the PS3 for streaming Netflix. You'll get much better video quality with the Roku. I use it, and as long as your internet connection is fast enough, many of the videos are near HD quality. Plus, you get other free channels, such as Pandora for listening to music. It's only a $100 box, and well worth the investment, in my honest opinion.

Actually the original is only $80 now and they came out with 2 new versions also. Roku Player Products | Roku SD Player, Roku HD Player and Roku HD-XR Player

I keep forgetting to set up a Pandora account to use with mine.
