Yeah well it comes in a box like a ViVi Nova. What ever. Wish I'd have gotten that memo on SteamMonkey. Ironically it is my Birthday today. Rain on.

Good chance it does include that then. I hope so so you can fire it up right away! Keep in mind the silica has kind of a funny taste for a little bit, mine does anyway, but it goes away shortly and tastes pretty clean. Happy Birthday man!

After having vaped a little under 1ml of Legend ( Gandalf whatever version lol )... I rinsed out and did a quick dry burn ( more to dry the wick than to clean the coil ) and started to look at which HHV e-liquids I was going to sample next. Since my main goal is to find a good non-aromatic with few other flavors to help as a cig replacement... I have pulled out the Dark Horse, Huntsman and Shadow(fax) ... and since all work and no play and all of that... I also grabbed Heavenly Tobacco just to have something else that did have other flavors in it. This round of taste testing, other than just being a bit premature since these aren't steeped... is more about looking for my goal ADV e-juice as well as doing some palate education so I better understand some of the previous descriptions more.

Yesterday.. my sinunses and throat were again stuffy and a bit scratchy... vaping on Legend was still not too bad as far as throat hits go... but for the most part I vaped without inhaling much except during the late evening when I could stand a bit more. vaping into the mouth doesn't give me the full flavor profile I'm used to as when I inhale into the lungs also... It appears that I'll just have to be happy with tasting these partially if I'm going to get an idea of these flavors more.

So far... I've only tried out Dark Horse... This one, on the website is described as a little grassy... if so it's a brown grass taste and not a green one for me ( at this point ) as I'm not detecting any brighter flavors that I thought would describe a green grass flavor. This may mean my previous mention of a hay like flavor that I detected in a previous GeJ juice may have been an incorrect one... I'll have to revisit that one later.

Currently, I'm waiting on my wicks to dry out again... I'll then quickly check out Huntsman and Shadow to see what flavors my palate can discern.

So when I first got into vaping I thought for sure I would love the bakery, coffee, different fruits etc. While I like them I just got tired of everything being sweet and after getting the stomach flu and vaping during it, the sweet flavors just make me kind of sick now. So i placed a very small order with good e juice. I received it today and just tried their fire cured tobacco. Wow, its pretty damn good. What are some other good vendors for natural tobacco's?

The other folks here will likely want to know more about your flavor preferences as well as what PV ( APV ) and type of vaporizer ( atty, carto, clearo, tank etc ) that you are using. Example... while saying tobacco is a start... but what type... cigarette like, pipe or cigar type... mild, bold, earthy, non-aromatic tobacco's or aromatic types.

GoodeJuice is a great start and their flavors are very true for the types they are made from... Heather's Heavenly Vapes is also very well liked and have several tobaccos most being hybrid types that include other flavors with them. Both brands will be better after steeping, how long will depend on the specific one. They are also some of the cleanest on the coils as is Ahlusion which many like for their aromatic types. Want2Vape's is also really liked as being some of the most true flavors out there but they also are pretty hard on the coils and gunk them up quickly.

While this thread is very long... it is highly recommended that you read through it so you can get a better feel for the juices that many of the following vendors I'm about to list will carry and what others think of them. This short quick summary won't suffice to cover it all by any means.

The following quote lists many vendors and most ( except 2 ) are NET types like what are discussed here.. Two are using TA extracts that differ from the NET extracts but they are making them in-house so I've left them in the list. Some may question that choice since this thread is really more about NET types.

Ahlusion.
Cravin Vapes
Darth Vaper
Goodejuice
Happy Esmoker
Heather's Heavenly Vapes
Highbrow Vapor
House of Liquids ( UK )
Moondrop ( TA ? )
Mountain Oak Vapors
MyVapeJuice
PrimeVaping
Quick Nic Juice
Tasty Vapor
The Plume Room
Vaperite
Velvet Cloud Vapor ( In House made TA )
Vermillion River

MxChino,

Here are some:

Ahlusion (shorthand: A+)
GoodEJuice (GeJ---you know that one)
Heather'sHeavenlyVapes (HHV, Purity line)
MountainOakVapor (MOV)
MyVapeJuice (MVJ)
QuickNicJuice (QNJ)
ThePlumeRoom (TPR)
Want2Vape (W2V)
VapeRite (VR)

Other NET vendors exist, some with only one or two natural tobacco juices, but the vendors above are all mainstays.

I seriously recommend that you read through this entire thread. Yeah, I know---it's huge. Just start with page one and sort of scan through the posts on each page, perusing mostly but stopping to really read whatever catches your attention or interest. You'll learn about the history of NETs, various methods of extraction, what each vendor does well and is best known for, plus all sorts of other stuff that will make you not just a happy vaper, but a happy vaper who actually knows something.

Thanks for all the info. I've tried MOV before just not their tobacco lines. I will definitely place an order with them. Right now I'm using a Zmax with Vivi Nova 3.5's. As soon as I get my tax return I'm going to order a provari and ZAP. I've read quite a bit of this thread, that's how I landed on GEJ for my first order, good prices and if i didn't like the Tobacco I wouldn't be out much.

As far as what type, I guess it really doesn't matter, maybe I'd like to stay away from the cigarette flavor, but really something that's just flavorful. Hard to explain really, but something where there is a lot going, with hints of different flavors.

MC, judging from your last sentence, I have a feeling that you're going to dig what MOV has to offer in their Gold Label line of NET's. Sunday Morning, Southern Gentlemen, Pendragon, etc.

Cheers :toast: and welcome to the t'read!

I really think you would like TPR's Candied Cavendish and Burley & Candy. Not what you would think by the names. Andrea has a thing about layering flavors. Quite nice.

I hope I am not breaking any rules posting here, I saw some discussion a few pages back about nicotine in extracts.

I have been doing a low budget nicotine test on our batches of NET flavorings and so far the nicotine levels in our extractions are literally so low that they cannot be measured.

Definitely below 1mg. Maybe on the order of something like .1mg. Actual extraction of nicotine requires a significantly more complicated approach I believe.

I would never want to sell someone a 0mg NET though, because lets face it if you want 0mg you really dont want any nicotine at all not even trace amounts.

I certainly cant speak for every other extraction process out there but I think to extract measurable amounts of nicotine there are very specific things you have to do that go above and beyond a general flavor extraction.

Hope this is okay to post here!

Thanks Steve. There has been a lot of speculation about how much nic makes it through the extraction process and it's good to see you are testing to verify any pass-through.

Dang Nick, you are quicker than me! I wish it was OK for vendors to answer our questions here and help clear up questions we have about their processes and products. I imagine that could get out of hand but most of the good NET vendors are great to share information.

I agree... but if nothing else we can still ask those types of question in the vendor's thread and/or forum area. Still... I liked seeing them take enough interest in the thread to actually read it... it shows a dedication that I like to see.

Ok... after much taste testing on the HHV juices I just got the other day... and well before they've had the steep time they deserve... I believe I've decided to not continue in a review style even though it may help me better understand and learn about the flavors... As I've vaped each, I also re-read what others have said about that flavor and what I'm tasting is far enough off from what the ones that did take the time to steep them properly said... that any such "pre-review" is not much use to anyone but myself. So I'll just generalize to some extent.

Georgia Peach Tobacco .... I threw this one in just to fill out the second set of samples I ordered... I didn't at that time think it was a flavor that interested me but at the same time, I have been wrong on that before and wanted to give it a shot. If the pre-steeped taste is any indication, it appears that I'm correct about it not being a flavor that is my style but I will say I could easily see some others would like this one... The blend and flavor shows that the same amount of thought and dedication went into designing this one...

Heavenly Tobacco... This one I did have high hopes being an RY4 but at this point ( 2nd day of steeping ) its flavor is weak. I hope this one becomes more robust and flavorful after giving it a month or so more steep time.

Dragons Fire... This one, even this early on... is already good and will likely be in my stash to vape it often. I can't wait to see what it becomes if it is already this good. One person mentioned caramel and honey as the sweet note... I can only say it is sweet but what note gives it to it I can't determine yet... I also kept getting another flavor but only on occasion... I kept thinking it was cinnamon but then later it seemed to be my mind creating the taste from a combination of the sweet and tobacco notes... it was odd but I thought it was worth mentioning since others have mentioned a similar thing on other flavors. In short, I think my mind "matrixed" the flavor like it does when it appears to see a shape that isn't really there like in the clouds. Still... very cool flavor.

Huntsman... This is another great flavor even before it has steeped... just a great straight up pipe. I will keep this around.

Pirates Booty... Another one that is good out of the mailbox before it's even had time to develop. If I had to choose between this one and Dragon's Fire... my answer would depend on the day you asked... it will be interesting to see how these two develop after they steep.

Shadow... Another great one... and I'd agree it isn't an RY4 but it carries the same theme.

Since I have already discussed my thoughts on Legend and Dark Horse... it would be redundant to mention them again here.

Out of the mailbox... all but two of the juices already taste very good... time steeping may actually increase those numbers. All of these are smooth and not in the least bit harsh. I'm not yet certain if any will be an ADV but I am already positive several will be in my rotation.

Hi rdsok, The HHV sample size bottles pretty much come pre-steeped. They probably won't change much but some might benefit from a week or two sleep. If you like 'em, vape 'em! :vapor: :) Edit: It's nice to read your thoughts though. :)

You can certainly be right about them being pre-steeped... but several of the flavors don't seem fully developed to me yet and I'm usually good about detecting that in a juice even if my palate isn't all that developed at detecting specific flavor notes. I know that sounds odd because it does seem odd to me also.

Most seem to agree that their true NETs need the most steeping time. My sample bottle of HT still tastes like unflavored to me after 6 mos.!

I'm getting some flavor in my HT... just not much. If it doesn't develop so be it... The RY4 from GeJ is a good one from the looks of it. I just opened GeJ's Perique a few moments ago... I expected a bit more funk ( in the good way ) from the previous descriptions I've read... I also need to visit GeJ's Acadia Gold at some point... but for now I'll just finish enjoying the Perique as it is

I had mentioned earlier that when I tried GeJ's NET Menthol... that the menthol was just barely present even to a non-menthol smoker/vaper... I ordered the GeJ NET Menthol ICE today to see if that one kicks up the menthol enough without overpowering the tobacco in it as so many do. The tobacco in the standard one is a nice flavorful well rounded non-aromatic and it would be a shame to cover it up too much.
