So i bought theMine innokin zenith along with a box mod and its just disappointing that i cant fix the spitback issue it has...
I tried really everything i could do and nothing so i gave up and now im looking for a new tank.
Any suggestions ?
Seems like a lot of people recommend the Zenith or a Nautilus.
My wife has used all types of Aspire Nautilus, still uses 2 Naut Minis every day, her main tank is a Naut 2s recently upgraded from a Naut 2, and on occasion a Nautilus X.
The Nautilus 2s seems to be working great for her, she likes the minor improvements to filling (huge improvement overall). She has not complained of any leaking or spitting with 55vg liquid. She using the 1.8 coil for it at 10 to 12 watts but was using the 0.7 coil in the original Naut 2 and loved that up to 15 watts. The 2s also came with a 0.4 coilhead that she has not used yet. The Aspire coils are a big plus for reliability and availability.

I honestly might try to warranty the tank, if you have the time to do it, and if you've tried a total teardown and rebuild, honestly. That does not sound like a Zenith at all.

I would get a Nautilus 2S. The 2S is MILES better than the 2 in every way. The 0.7 mesh nautilus coils aspire has made are pretty great, too.

It's a good next step I like mine a lot. I quit with the N2 so I am never going to knock it but then N2S is everything the N2 SHOULD have been.

I've been using the Zenith tanks for at least 1 1/2 years so far (the full size 4mL ones, the D22 3mL ones, and the smaller D22 2mL ones that came with the Innokin Coolfire Mini kit)...and I haven't experienced any spitback at all with any of them. Have also been using them on eLeaf 30W mods, Aegis Minis, etc., besides on the Coolfire Mini. I'm wondering which Zenith coils you were using in it and at what wattage? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Ya know, it got me thinking. I have NEVER had a nautilus coil spit at me and then all of a sudden one did (it was in a kabuki.) It just kind of settled down after a while. I vaped it cautiously til then. Wattage made no difference.

I think it was/is a bad coil (I am still vaping it by the way) did all your coils come from the same box or same place?

Using the 1.6 ohm coils
Between 10-15 watts
No matter how smoothly i draw / how many time i clean the coil and its area
How many coils i replace it always spitback, its not coming hot but i can feel the taste in my mouth and its horrible

You didn’t say what pg/vg juice you’re using, but under normal conditions that tank should be able to handle high pg.

How hot is it where you are? Because the only other thing I can think of is, it’s summer (here, anyway) and juice gets thinner in the heat. You could try a higher vg.

Thing is, this is not a common problem with that tank from what I’ve heard. It’s pretty popular. So unless you figure out the source of the issue, you’re likely going to have the same trouble with any other tank.

Hello @UrNsFace, if it's really hot thinner liquids such as 50/50 become almost as thick as water. So it may well be worth trying higher VG content liquids such as 70% VG, it'll either work or it won't but you'll have to try to find out for sure.

Hopefully though you'll get something sorted out.

Nautilus 2S is a pretty great little thing. Proper filling now with less chance of flooding, good flavor, good airflow, cheap coilheads, retro look. I dig it.
Tried Innokin Zlide not too long ago. Mesh coilheads are pretty dissapointing, poor livespan, average flavor at best, too airy for me at even one hole (that's what pbusardo prefers, I guess). Nautilus 2S is the way to go.
I don't know why, but round wire coils give me the warmth I want, while mesh ones don't.
I remember cigarettes giving me warm smoking sensation, which I like, so that's offputting to me. Just my opinion.

With my rebuildables I have to use a lot more cotton when the weather gets warm to make up for the juice getting much thinner. With stock coil tanks you could try thicker liquids and see if that helps
