Hey guys, just got my nem from vaperev. It's sick. One problem though, my trident doesn't fit.
Idk why. The threads fit on my provari, and on my buddies chi clone. Any tips?

must be a glitch; either a burr in the threads of the top cap on the Neme or something about the trident connector threads.

As far as i know, those should both be compatible as any 510 .

Yeah man idk what it is. Trident fits on my provari and my buddies chi clone. Good thing is he also got in a nimbus clone so I just swapped him until my patriot and other mods get here. I love my trident though so it's def a bummer

Not the prettiest looking setup but it'll do for now, until the rest of my vape mail arrives.

When I got my first Nemesis, my Killer 705 wouldn't completely thread on the top cap (didn't see this problem on other mods I had tried). Initially I thought that there was a problem with my Nemesis, but I later realized that there was an issue with this Killer (I experienced similar problems when I tried it on my Poldiac and a different Killer adapter threaded on the Nemesis just fine). Probably not the best suggestion, but I forced it in which cleared the threads and everything is now fine (probably just a burr in the threads of the Killer adapter).

I have a question for everyone who owns, especially those who recently acquired their nemesis.

I was inspecting my kalafan edition yesterday and as per my OCD nature, when it comes to little details, I found a few things that lead me to a little bit of a panic attack. Thus, I need opinions and experience of those who are in possession of their nemesis. Prior to describing and demonstrating my "issue" I'd like to point out that I will not disclose the vendor before being 100% sure there is an actual problem.

So, once I disassembled the mod I noticed there were a few scuffs, couple of scratches and some 'gunk' build up, not massively so but never the less, to make it easier I took pictures to describe these things.

Also, just for my piece of mind, any kalafan owners can confirm that my mod is actually authentic, at least as authentic as their own looks?

First up, the firing pin:

- build ups of gunk and what seems like a bit of corrosion? is that normal for the new mod to have?

Next up, threading on the firing button:

- Threads are slightly messy and it does cause a little bit of an issue when trying to thread it into the tube

Inside of the firing button, has a very nasty and obvious darkness, that seems to be from fair amount of twisting it and hence the spring friction on the surface

Top cap, again issue here is that it seems that a few attys were threaded in

Lastly, the tubes, although no scratches or issues with threading been noticed here, i did notice that the kick ring and the firing button locking ring seem to be 1mm smaller, in diameter, compared tot he rest of the tubes, is that normal?

General remarks, there is some gunk in the threads which seem to be of concern.

I haven't fired it yet, prior to investigating all the above little issues.

In conclusion, if anyone can tell me about theirs and if they experienced similar issues, the idea here is to find out if the mod is used rather than new, if it's a cone or orig., if it's defected from factory or anything else you lot may say. So that I can collect all that and take it to the vendor, in the event those really are legitimate issues. Once, I collect enough information I will make sure to post the name of the vendor for whatever the outcome of it is.

Thank you in advance for any help!

So I wasn't being completely paranoid in the end =(

What about the kick ring? Is it normally smaller in diameter?

I have an original. Mine is mixed polished, not brushed. But on mine, the kick ring and the locking ring are the same diameter as the tubes.

The Nemesis logo is off, the rings should all be smooth no difference in diameter, the Nemesis name and serial number look different to mine, I compared the pictures to the 4 Nems i have including the new anodized one, looking at the Nemesis engraving the right side of her hood is the give away, sorry bud

On my matte nemesis everything is the same diameter. Almost flawlessly the same. It definitely looks like its been used though. Do you have an image of when the firing button is locked? Looks like the button may be a smaller diameter as well. Almost looks as if its a mish mash of parts from different nemmys?

thank you for the responses lads, I highly appreciate it, even though it means I have been had. I have just e-mailed the vendor with a very strict formal letter demanding explanation and rectification. It is unfortunate that vendors feel that they can do this, what is unfortunate for the vendor however is that I am a lawyer with several close friends (also practicing lawyers) who all reside and practice in the country where vendor handles the business. At this stage I will reserve from releasing the name of the vendor until the resolution, as a courtesy and an opportunity for the vendor to fix this problem. I am also currently assembling all the evidence in order to contact Atmomixani for their advise.

Absolutely gutted about this, I was using a china mod and has finally decided to acquire a mod that I so admired, what makes this even worse is that this was an early xmas present from my girlfriend.

Again, thank you for the input, I will keep updating everyone here as this progresses.

Just got my kalafan today from vaperev, I can't tell any difference from yours on the engravings, but my eyes don't function all that well, so minute differences wouldn't mean much from me in that department, my kick ring is very slightly smaller, doesn't seem as much as in your pic, the locking ring on mine seems slightly larger than the tubes, but again, very miniscule, they can be felt, but not seen imo. However my button is precisely the same size as the tubes. When I get to work Friday, I'll measure it all up with digital calipers and report back. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the input, everything helps right now, the more data I collect the better (in the event the vendor decides reject my request to rectify the situation).

I've so far e-mailed the vendor and Atmomixani, last night, so far I have no responses from either, the story continues =(
