thats awesome to hear. How do you like the dry hit protection with the ijoy asolo? work good?
It works really good when set up right.....it doesnt like contact coils or advanced coils like claptons (dry hit prevention will kick in too early), but with spaced coils i never had a problem. It also depends on how you "train" it....longer training works better.

What is a contact coil? I have a Uwell Crown with SS coils .2 and an Isub apex also .2 will those work? btw I saw your posts about the 200w and it pushed me over the edge. Thanks for that :) I am either getting the 200w asolo or the solo mini. I have been msging w ijoy on facebook and there is no difference in the chip or software so its just a matter of size and design.

Contact coil is opposite of spaced coils ;)
Its when each wrap is in contact with the wraps next to it.

Yes, it should work just fine with those SS coils....SS has a higher tcr curve, I've found that coils that don't work well in kanthal (twisted wire, contact coils, etc..) work fine in SS.

Thanks USMCotaku! This may be a stupid question but I have never owned a mod with removable batteries. Right now I have an MVP 3.0 Pro so I have not had to worry about what batteries to buy.

Are the LG18650 3000 mah 20amp continuous discharge batteries good enough? Or should I sacrifice some mah and go up in amps? If so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I don't have the specs on the solo mini yet, but for the Asolo they recomend 25 amp batteries....but If you aren't super sub ohming, those would be ok
