Well that is why I asked, I thought I had seen good comments about the Molicel ones. :|

Which ones though?
RTD Vapor

:)
I got both the Molicell P42A (to try) and the Samsung 40T which I've been using. So far I can't tell the difference between the two (yet anyway).

Maybe I will try them sometime in the future, I wanted to get them ordered asap. Hopefully will have everything next week, sense I am off work. This is my first time shipping with DHL from CDV. Any future orders I might have to ship to my place of work, which I am trying to avoid. :|

RTD is pretty good and the only place I get batteries from. Last order I placed was Sunday 06/21 and received on Thursday 06/25. That was PA address to PA address however. Nothing but good experience with RTD and their batteries.

So I just got a new Dani Box mini and a Dicodes Charging Station. I put in my other Dani Box Mini I ordered earlier this year in the Dicodes Charging Station. Nothing happens.

I place the same battery in my new Dani Box Mini and place that on the Dicodes Charging Station. All of a sudden it reads the battery.

Anyone else had a problem using the charging station? It seems there is something wrong with one of my Dani Box Minis. I never dropped it, got it wet, or anything like that. Have been very careful with it.

I wish I had a "do this" answer but I don't. Some suggestions: On the bottom of the mini, there is a small hole with a gold bar inside it. That's actually an electrical trace on the board itself and is the charging connection. Make sure there's not a piece of something partially blocking it or preventing an electrical connection. And not sure about the mini, but other Dicodes mods are not symmetrical even though they might look like they are. You might try removing the insert from the charger and rotating it 180 degrees.

And when I had my charger, it was not unusual to have to rock the mod as it seated in the charger so the spring loaded pins would make good contact.

I hope this might help - they're worth looking at if you haven't already.

It has to sit in there perfect. If your using the wrong insert, it'll say 'gnd-short' or something close to that. Another thing you can try, clean that bottom hole. Some rubbing alcohol with a q-tip. Let it dry, and try it again. Love my Dicodes charging station, but wish they would update it. Maybe some USB charging ports, maybe a way to charge it all the way to 4.2 volts. My is never 4.2 when I take it off. Close but never 4.2. But yeah, try cleaning that contact point on the bottom.

Connection looks clear.

I was able to place a brand new Dani Box Mini in the charger, read it immediately. Put in my slightly older one, no joy.

And when I had my charger, it was not unusual to have to rock the mod as it seated in the charger so the spring loaded pins would make good contact.

I tried rocking and rolling, no luck.

Another thing you can try, clean that bottom hole.

I made sure everything was clean. When I look at both my Dicodes mods, they look identically pristine. However one does not charge.

I have placed an inquiry with CDV. Will see what happens. I can only imagine I have a defective unit. Otherwise it vapes just fine. I just have to take the battery out to charge.

Keith referred me to Dicodes after some troubleshoot steps. Sending my Dicodes mod back to the mothership for repairs. So glad I purchased a backup. I can only imagine the trip to Germany and back plus repair time is going to be a while.
at least 3 cartons worth...

of time that is.

For some reason my batteries have been sitting at the Indy post office hub, sense yesterday at 6:30 PM, so no batteries today. This is the 2nd time in a month that they have done this, usually it moves to my post office within a few hours. :?:
