It's the brooklyn in. That video was made just for uma. I'm not a reviewer. Her contacts are going to get to black and hard to clean if she doesn't soon. Do you hear me dirty girl. That's what you should be afraid of uma.

Tony

hahahahah
Tony respect to your help and the special way you give it!
oh Uma please clean your contacts
Tony made this video to see that is easy!! (and he did)

I DID it!!   I DID it!!
Let's hope the other whiny brats DID it too!!!
(Tony has funny lookin' puke)

Update:

Well...I went through and cleaned out the center tube and used some 400 grit sandpaper to smooth any edges, and I also replaced the two center post insulators..EUREKA! Everything is working fine now. There was a small burr inside of the 510 connection that I think was the culprit. :)

SWEET!! Right on!! Let's hope yours was the only burry one that escaped the hatch. What a day for everyone eh.

That was quite helpful, viewing the Delrin trick to realign the switch housing. I hope to remember it when it's my turn. :)
I'm up to first popped coil. My first thought? OH NO!! Fresh battery!!! The Poldiac hits too hard for a new coil. Now repeat after me: I must use dying battery with new coils, especially with the Poldiac....

Now I'll go finish watching and watch you have come to that conclusion already.. lol

I don't know if anyone here is following the ss mesh/oxide thread, basically worrying about oxidized mesh producing some nasty stuff when heated to high temps such as those during oxidation. I'm not real worried about it myself but Cyrus posted about his experiment with unoxidized mesh. I figured I would give it a try as I just cleaned up the DID and was setting up a new wick/coil anyway. Long story short, this has been the best flavor I have gotten out of a setup and after a few pulses, using a half dead battery Uma, I have had no shorts or any other issues. I've vaped a full tank so far and am loving it.

Tart is an affectionate term used to describe a sexually promiscuous, (& or feisty) woman. :)

B2L, I still haven't tried the non-torched method, shamed to say. Good to hear it wicks great and is flavorful too. Those were my main concerns with that method. I'll try to boil some up tomorrow & see how it goes.
There's a very interesting, informative thread I've been following elsewhere, with a real chemist in the conversation, and so far, I am convinced that the threads here at ecf are total fearmongering at best. Yet it never hurts to learn new ways to do things, & to be on the safest side of safe that we can be.

haha, Duane, you skipped my old party song by Iron Butterfly. That song would last all night, I swear. I had no idea I was a heavy metal girl way back then lol.
Taking the dremel to the foot was a pretty neat trick to keep in mind, & one I'll try to remember for future troubleshooting with self or others. Nobody's infallible, not even Jim.
It was great seeing the insulators in hand too. Viewers can see what a good material they are.

::: off to play Barbies with Duane :::

hmmm sexually promiscuous... I wish! I have not had sex in over 3 years!
Although I guess I am sexually promiscuous in spirit :p

Feisty... yes I do have strong determination ;)

where off for a few months, I'm not THAT forum-guy.
Let's wrap it up: I'm using a DID 20 and a DID Gemini since october and never touched any other atty since then. Sold my Odysseus in november. I've watched some videos about wicks/coils and P.Bussardo' reviews about the GE-type attys.. Currently I use AWG 30 for DID and twisted AWG 32 on the Gemini :)
Well, since my ProVari couldn't handle ~1Ohm coils and I don't like my GG Staehlth THAT much I'm going to order a Poldiac next week :)
Did anyone tested porous ceramics (FC2000)?
Jim: will you offer them somewhere in the future, since they're hard to get here in the EU?

I am using the porous ceramic. The 1/8" wick fits perfectly and works. I am still tinkering with the coil. The ceramic does not do low resistance well. Getting ready to pop a 32awg coil on it. Have done ribbon 1ohm and 30awg 1.4ohm so far.
