Imeo, can you make me one with a side button at the top?

This one looks to much like the MaKo that Tim made.

Hi my old friend True,
Someone told me (like you, when he saw GGSlim) that Tim has made a slim like this and its name is Mako. I went to Tim's site and I saw a paint of this. I saw the button too and it is very close to mine. We had just the same idea. But the button inside and the working parts will be diferent for sure. I am sure that the total length and the external diameter will be different too.
I cant ruin my design and my thoughts because someone made a button like mine, do you agree? (If it is like mine and not different:))

I never go to see other designs, I dont own anything exept GG, I work alone. If someone makes something and my people want it, I do it without looking anywhere to see what other people do, I am completely cut from every construction here because I am sure that my way will be exellent. I have only my own ideas, nothing else.:):)

As for putting button on side, I dont want to do it because I want a very Slim GG that is sleek too with a clean surface (without anything on it). I was trying to make a GG that is like a real cig but immortal too!!

You get what you pay for. I know what goes into these things so I am not too worried about price. I know you are not trying to make a killing on this. You are only trying to build the best e-cig you can. And I don't really NEED one but I HAVE to have one... Just because the GG is just such a work of art and a labor of love. I can see that you truly do this because you like it. A true artist.

Yes vanp, thanks that you totally understand me, I do it just for hobby, thats the reason I try to build it the way I want. Harder than a tank inside and like a butterfly outside:)

Ditto (and you said it better than I could) :)

I am just happy as a clam that I finally got ahold of one. I was watching the IKEN site for weeks waiting for my chance to jump. My eyes popped out of my head when I got Crash's PM the other day. Now waiting for that blessed day that the mail man drops the GG in my box... That sounds kinda kinky.. if I had a box anyway... lol....

On that note I must get back to my school work. Algebra is calling my name. YUK...

True, my friend, they are nothing alike apart from the button placement – just certain people are saying this stuff for their own reasons.... Best to ignore gossip.........

As far as I can see, the Mako is a lot wider and looks completely different to the new GG slim and I’ll bet the internals are also considerably different.

I am sure Imeo could make a slim with a side button near the atty but due to the mechanism, it would be bigger – that’s the entire point of putting the button at the bottom as he has done.

He’s already made a previous slim, as you know. It was small, but this new one is TINY..... literally – you saw how it compared to an analog....

I am not a fan of bottom buttons unless there is a good reason to do so. Making a device nearly as small as an analog but with a decent battery life is a good enough reason in my book.

I hesitated about even replying on this topic because I don't like to devote time and energy to unfounded rumours but I really feel that it's time for this kind of crap to stop now.

:lol::lol:hi crissie, I will help you with your decision immediately.

GGTS is the most advanced cig in the world, you know already that. That means that you will have everything with it. You will never complain that you want an option and your e-cig will not have it. You have choices that you have never seen before. Its a toy too to spend your time:D.

I believe that the first choice is GGTS and Slim is here anytime you want a real small e-cig. But there are already small chinese e-cigs that they can help you to some situation. But GGTS is beyong any fantasy.

So I would bought a GTTS and then if I wanted something real special and immortal to stop me buying new batteries and switches and any other stuff, I would bought the GGSlim.

I say my opinion just because maybe you need it. The final decision is yours of course.

ps........ You need a serious gun first and then you need a knife too for other jobs:):)

I agree Imeo
, I do think the GGTS is the one I should go for. But can I afford it? If money was no object, I would so love to treat myself to the GGTS plus the slim (for taking out & about). But added to that I also want to treat myself to an AFS & some of your atties - tis never ending 8-o

On the other hand, compared to how much I used to spend on analogues....:)

Grimmer, I'm also not too keen on the button being placed at the bottom on another mod I own. However, I can understand why Imeo has done it on the GG Slim. He has created a beautiful, small, slim, mechanical e-cig that I am sure will appeal to many people. It is extremely aesthetically pleasing to the eye & in this instance the button placement is IMHO in the only place it can be without spoiling the design :)

Lisa, thanks a lot for your exellent post, I can speak english like you so you said exactly what I wanted to say.

Scamz, I will do a 510 Slim but the first batch will be with 901 atomizer. The next ones will be 901 and 510 too

Grimmer, I did it because I wanted to make it super small and because a button on side dont look nice in a so small device

Crissie, I will keep the same price as Trans (130 shipped), or maybe I will do it at 100 euros. I found a cheap way to make them so cheap for me is cheap for you too. I dont want to steal anyone, I just want to give more things to you.

Scamz, AFS is a system that you can smoke without refilling carts. You put it on the atomizer and you fill it with liquid. Then you smoke for about 2-3 hours.

(((Imeo)))) to me all of your GG's are priceless (hope that comes across in the good way it is meant in the translation). I have always had a love for beautifully designed, hand (& well made) items. As my mother used to say, I have champagne tastes but with only beer money :D

If you can only buy one, then this is probably your best choice to give you every possible option in one single device......

I don't want a button on the end of a larger device such as the trans but I tried to imagine what it would be like on this new small slim by imagining a bottom button on my original GG slim and I think it will work really well in this instance.

There's never going to be a single device that suits absolutely every person in every aspect of performance or design, it's just never going to happen (although I reckon the Telescopic will come close to this).
In the end I guess that's why Imeo has made such a range of different GGs. There's at least one to suit everybody.

I am with you on that. I just try to put away the money I would have spent on cigarettes. When you think on these terms a GG isn't expensive at all. I can't always buy when I want to. I have to wait and save.
