Is there a coating of some nature that you could add to future GG's to help with the discoloration. Also I wouldn't mind seeing a solid Brass GGTS either..

maybe the best solution here is to anadizing the GG's after they have been polished. Other than that there is no way to prevent this unless he uses sergical stailess steel. But that will increase weight and cost...
We cant anodise GG Grimmer because it will lose the contact between its threads
Of course you are right about steel, we cant make a 3 times heavier GG. We prefere the 7075 aluminium that has the hardness of steel without its weight!
Also brass is 3 times heavier Wood my friend, so I find it useless to make the GG like this

Am I the only one that actually likes the "patina" that develops over time? I must be getting old.
Well I must be getting old then Stormy. I like the character that only time can bring. Plus, you can always "shine it up" for those special ocassions.
We mean the same Wood my friend. If GG is all made brass or steel then it will be 3 times heavier. I made a gold slim because slim is already light. I made the telescope tube brass because its thin. But an all brass or steel GG would be very heavy.

The bad thing with aluminium is that its getting dark but not all of it at the same time like brass do.

Yeah, and I would love a 6volt single battery...like a 6volt 18650 ....achieve 6volts with ONE battery, that would be great....Most battery issues come from batterys being used inline(2 in a row). I think if mods keep going the way there going, it wont be too much longer until someone does it.

We cant make an 6 volt battery friend because we cant charge it Hefner. There are 6 volt batteries but only for one use
