Really! Is that another mod? Lol. Interesting.

Yes dragonbone, it's a mod from "Kato" (Korea), named the "Popular 3" (The Popular 2 is a classical tube), seems to be quite rare, prototyped at the end of 2012. Renamed somewhere "Square". It's a mechanical mod (just a 18350 on the left with the switch, no electronics). A bit like the Sidewinder from Zen which has also been done a bit differently by SvoeMesto (split the tube in two on a base like the Zen, but not permanently, and it's electro) and in the Vinci (mechanical, bottom feeder). The new idea in the Kato and the VTR is the housing for the clear/tank, a variation on the tank insert found in some modboxes.

The idea is emerging and reshaping itself from modders to modders. I'm quite happy that this form factor is getting some traction, a bit like the fusion between bottom feeder boxes and electronic tubes, many aesthetics to come.

VTR now listed on UKECigStore.com for pre-order!

They also have a video of the device, which looks pretty sweet!

They have it priced at £89.99, which converts to approx. $120.00 USD.

Estimated delivery is mid-Sept., but they're taking pre-orders now....

Seems it may actually exist!!! This'll be the first device I've purchased in a looong time! (I've been pretty happy switching between my spinner and my MVP, but I love the idea of a recessed tank, as I keep my devices in my shirt pocket)

Can't wait for this to be released!!!

Thanks so much for the heads up for the UK Ecig Store preorders. :toast: I've had good customer service from them for two Vision Aurora BFT orders so I put my preorder in. I'm sick to death of web stalking for the VTR. :( Now I'm crossing my fingers that the Aurora will fit inside the tank cubby although it's not a deal breaker for me if it doesn't.

I like the design of the VTR but ponder the tank,

If I can screw on the new Kanger Mini Pro Tank, then I'm all for it! My plan is to modify the Mini and trim the mouthpiece down so I can add
an adapter tube to hold a plastic drip tip. Drop the box on the drip tip, it won't break the tank and I can swap tips. Must be patient with this one, wait for the video reviews so I can get an idea if my modification idea will play out.

Look up the kangertech mini protank 2. Less work IMO

sent from my phone via tapatalk 2 because I can't stop reading and posting on ECF

Not a bad kit for the price. In addition to the VTR you get a "flight case" (which I assume is the new leather case) and an iClear30S (which they say is the newer version of the iClear).

The video looks to me like it shows a regular iClear 30 with wicks at the top. On the Innokin site the VTR is pictured with some sort of juice delivery device that has a tube with a bunch holes in a vertical row. It appears to be covering wicks. One Innokin pictured on their FB page looks like it is a bottom coil.

Also, Innokin calls the leather case pictured on their site a "holster". The UK Ecig store says "flight case".

All I'm expecting to get is a cheesy plastic drawstring bag and the regular iClear 30. If I get a decent case and some sort of new iClear I get a happy surprise rather than being disappointed.

I think it is waaaay overpriced. Apart from the design (which is great), its basically an MVP 2 without a battery or charger, so how can it be almost twice the price? I was hoping for it to be around the £50-60 mark, but I ain't forking out £90 for one, especially without a battery.

think I'll wait until healthcabin or FastTech get them in and hope the dollar is weak against the pound - lol!

Yeah $140 is a little steep if you ask me but then again the whole demand supply thing.... We shall see, I was biting at the bit to get one until the price came up, now it does not look near as appealing to me. It may be worth it and I may still get it but it is not on my list of priorities at the moment. I think I will wait until other stores start carrying it and hit up some coupon codes :D
