I'm having hell guys. I can't see well enough to make a decent solder joint and I am not steady enough to hold the wire in place even if I could see what I am doing. I think I am almost ready to put it in the tube.
If I had the equipment I would. I can twist up a PTB wick small enough to fit inside the coils, but getting it in there would be a nightmare.
Edit: I bet it would work like nobody's business.
BR, i cant find my solder so I cant make a wire connection to the new tiny stem for the cup. i just flippe my freaking house upside down fo rthe missing solder roll. so for now it will be pids and tomorow i can make it fire
good thread, rbonie, do you all enlarge the coil while you have access to it without a wick inside of it?

Short answer: IMO you don't need to run these at 5v for any reason. The one REALLY good thing about these new cartos is that they simulate HV vaping without the need for actual higher voltage. 3.7v is plenty for these, and even too high (imo) for anything under 2.8-3Ω.
ooo yeah member burning some on a coil that was too hot!! So Far this PTB thread laid on the cup/ coil has done great. after vaping it dry once ptb looked ok and there were no dry vapes. Will keep testingI don't know if you guys know it or not, but PTB burns like crazy when it is dry. If it is inside the coil, you may not be able to do a dry burn.
Mine has to go together like this. Everything all at once.

I'll play with it some more, but not tonight.
