Looks great! I find it necessary to have something such as the filler ring or white moutpiece stabilizing the cup. That will also prevent leaks- at least from the cup.

Thanks, yes, it's pretty 'wobbly' w/o something. I hoping it doesn't leak at the threads but the seal looks tight. Guess I'll have to put a little liquid in there to test it.

Now, what to do for the mouthpiece...

I know a lot of you are going to hate this, but I found an easy way to make just about any size tube mod.

Take the tube and cut to size. Sand the edges.

Take the tube, spray it with cooking oil, stand it on end.
Place carto metal tube inside new plastic tube.
Fill space between plastic tube and metal tube with non-toxic hot glue. About 1" deep should be fine.
Cool, then push glue mold out of plastic tube.
With the metal tube still inside glue mold, cut mold in half with sharp knife.
Cut off ends of mold for a clean edge.
Now you have the top and bottom seal for your tube.

I'm testing a couple to see how it holds up.

I'm not terribly worried about the hot glue, as it's safely used in aquarium applications. I'm not sure if the vg or pg will react negatively with it though.

I don't know if its hot glue that they use on the inside of a wetbox....but it sure looks like hot glue...and when juice leaked into my first one the glue started to dissolve and caused all of the connections to become loose before I noticed anything was going wrong. So I got another one and now when I use it...I make SUPER sure that no juice is leaking.

So that's my experience with what I believe is hot glue...but am not positive.

What you mean funny? This not funny. This secret spring where they get Favouless water to make carto have joy for you. If you look closely in buildings, you see QC dpartment where happy cartos tested. Why you say funny?

stephenluke.....(also) I think your idea is GREAT....and really hope it works because it seems like a perfect solution for this!!!

It's badkolo's idea.
We'll see if it holds up.
I just can't seem to find silicone grommets in the right size. I bought just about every beveled washer at the hardware store and nothing would fit.

Does one of the thinner carto condoms fit in the tube, allowing your drip tip to fit?

I don't know boys and girls...just tried my first Joye 510 cartomizer and no hassle at all. These look very promising:

YouTube - Joye 510/eGoMega Cartomizer First Impressions

I love the E2's when you can make sure everythign is working good and maybe once they get their QC consistent. But you still haev wickign issues having to vape tilted. The Joyes have a cooler vape with a 3.7 to me because of the atomizer sitting at the bottom but...no washing and drying out, no dry burning, no modding whatsoever. Hold same amt of juice. I have become attached to the E2's for various reason but idk...

Only problem is when I sanded the plastic ends flush it increased the diameter some and they won't fit. My improvised drip tip (metal tube w/ mouthpiece) didn't either.

use a cuticle cutter to clean out the hole so the mout peace fits or you can shave down your drip ttip with a nail file

I got to say, I tried them as well. Not real impressed. They do hold the same amount of juice but I am not sure what happened to it, I have not been able to make one last more than 2 hours. I can go 5-6 hours on an E2.
I found the draw on them to be nice and smooth, but they changed the taste of all 3 flavors I ran through them. Not really a bad taste, but different. Much like regular old style cartos do. E2s taste just like your dripping when you have a good one going.

They are better than regular old cartos (minus the magical evaporating juice)... but I would rather spend an hour getting 4-5 E2s working well IMO. I traded for 3 of them and they now sit in my ammo case were I suspect they will remain for eternity :)

Well I'll give it a go and see how it goes...sa far seems to be fine but the vape isn't as warm...they run at 2.6 ohm...

bad: I will have to try a flavor that works well for me on the E2 and compare tastes, see if I notice any filler off-taste. But mine hasn't leaked and I have been vaping for about an hour on one.

yeah im not saying they all leak but 2 of 4 did, the taste started off great then went downhill after that, it gunked up much faster then a e2. I did like it better then older cartos but not better then a e2. im not talkin bad about them just telling ya issues i had. I do have some plans on modding those as well , maybe even ptb somehow but it might be a pain in the .... to do. the good thing is the filler or design isnt prone to burning like old cartos.

i dont know if using ptb is being hypocritical when in fact its like using a filler, just that the ptb is made of a different material its still filler i guess, the difference is with ptb i taste nothing but juice, no backround cloth taste like fluffly filler does.
