wipes sweat of her brow - so glad you find them acceptable, quick! i hate to stick my neck out but i was pleased with them and .... i don't have a genesis ;)

btw i use the reg size and pushing down the included tip as far as it goes does prevent leaking for me
That works for me too. One thing I can say is Quick1's review is the most detailed review I have ever seen.

any more input, quick?

Ummmm, errr, not really. I've only re-filled each of the 2 XLs I tried one more time. I did get them as backups and very very occassional use (infrequent occassions where I might want to carry in my pocket. XL on my BB).

They're really not the same as my Genisis. First there is no way to enlarge any sort of air hole for direct inhaling. The 510 connector provides what it does. So I tend to inhale by letting air leak in my lips around the XL. This takes some effort -- kind of like taking a deep breath through a coffee stirrer. Taste is ...different. Not bad really but different. There is that carto type taste on occassion. I am used to, and prefer, the taste I get with the Genisis. Maybe it's just that I don't get the same volume and density with an inhale and more likely that it's a lower wattage. I am drawing a larger volume of air over the coil/wick in a shorter amount of time with the Genisis but I'm also running it at 1.6Ω.

One thing I did notice is that (at least one of them) is prone to having a "gurgle". Like juice in the air tube. I blow it out and it gets much better. Maybe after sitting (it gets in all positions in it's case in my laptop bag) a bit leaks/collects in the cup. Maybe it's condensation above the cup since I also seem to suck some onto my lips at times. They haven't shown any signs of leaking (I use caps from my other cartos).

Sorry, no real information there I guess. They're not an alternative for the Genisis which I have tweaked/tuned exactly to my preference. They are currently the best I've tried that are non-genisis. but that's not a whole lot. The last "best" ones I tried were the Joye 510 mega cartos and those just got carried as backups for about a year.

I'm here, thanks.
Glad to see Quick1 is trying them at last.
I'm still using the CE2 most of the time, though I mostly vape only at home, in the evenings/nights.

Good to hear from you.

Funny, your name came up just the other day in another thread.

Really Like the Screw on Coil/Wick Assembly.

I think that concept was brought up back in the E2 days.

v1john would cream right now

I hear you. Banjo might like them also.

Save a couple for me when they come out and send them to BR and Banjo.

Hey Zoid,

Live music has been good this year. Check out our FB page for some recent pics: Wickerbach | Facebook

We just did a company sponsored gig last week downtown. Biggest audience we've had yet.

People seem to like us old farts for some reason. I'd like to think it's the banjo, but more than likely it's the classic rock. :)

Right On.

Just goes to shown that there Is no New Good Music anymore. At least since Sony bought up FM Radio.

LOL

Good to hear you're doing good Banjo.

So what's the name of the best CE2 that is readily and widely available right now?
I don't have a lot of money to order so many different kinds to explore progress right now,.

PM me and I'll send you a couple of the Newest CE2's when they hit they Streets.

Should be in about a week or so.

I am a fan of CE2 Ultimate XL, which are being phased out, sadly.

I tried the CE2 rev7, the last version, and found them easier to fill and very inferior in taste and wicking rate, even after tweaking.
Same for CE2 rev6, black tube. Don't ask me why. They should be the same as ultimate, but perhaps the ones I got are too recent and had already coils and wicks which are now fitted on the rev7.
