I hope this info encourages newbies to keep vaping instead of smoking. I can't believe how relieved I am to have read this! Thank you, Dr. Konstantinos E. Farsalinos et al.

Here is the link:

Nicotine absorption from electronic cigarette use: comparison between first and new-generation devices : Scientific Reports : Nature Publishing Group

As a newbie reading this eased a lot of my worries about vaping. I was a smoker for decades and had quit for 6 years. My cravings were getting to me though. So rather than smoking again I tried vaping. I was actually convincing myself that by vaping I was a failure at my cessation. Now, I realize I did a good thing for myself with substituting e-cigs for the stinkies.

This link was also on the News and Media section, but I think it should also be here for newbies like me.

For me, it was the "Big Batts" & "Larger Quantity Tanks", that got me to quit. I didn't care to fiddle with the "Cigalikes". The short battery run times and very limited eliquid quantity drove me nuts. Then, the eGo arrived on scene. . .then very shortly later, the ProVari was announced. That was the beginning of the end of my smoking, & vaping. I smoked tobacco more than 52 years. (2.5 PAD when I started vaping). Had pretty much resigned myself to never quitting smoking. Feb 6th was my 1 year no vaping anniversary. Looking back on it now. . .it was laughingly easy to quit smoking, using eCigs & this forum. JMHO

Cheers,

No doubt about it. If I could open any business right now it would certainly be a vape shop. They're few and far between in Chicagoland but they're everywhere in Phoenix. I mean everywhere. I'm on vacation visiting family and I've stopped at 10 shops already. Lots seem to be selling starter kits and tons of lower quality juices but there are a few gems to.

Az Vape Club had kayfuns on display and for sale for $110 and Vape Central has a no clone policy selling several high end mods and plenty of atomizers. I'll be returning to both before I go back home.
