My daughter struggles with celiac more now than a couple years ago because many people assume she's just following a fad. After spending years figuring out what was wrong, she now has to deal with fools who only see the fad.
Not trying to diminish the impact of your daughter's condition. For people actually suffering from Celiac's, having the options for gluten-free products is not a matter of choice but one of necessity. Sadly, the health zealots who have more fear than understanding have pushed the marketing of gluten-free products into the realm of buzzword marketing.

The reason I'm pretty unfazed by those bogus taglines is because flavorings/PG/VG/nic is "vegetarian" and "non-GMO" by default. They're all just buzzwords to make you think they're somehow using cleaner or superior ingredients in their e-liquid, when odds are they're using the same generic "by-the-barrel" components as virtually every other e-juice manufacturer. Even if they did somehow source a supposedly "cleaner" version of PG/VG/nic, they're probably just the middle-man in a long con, and are being duped by their suppliers into thinking their VG/PG/nic is of superior quality.
Some vendors do have the facilities to do GC/MS analysis in-house and use them to verify the purity of their incoming PG, VG, and nicotine. They include COAs when you buy from them. The best nic I've found comes from a vendor who does that. OTOH, I actually prefer the PG and VG that comes from another, lower-cost vendor who doesn't.

As for the rest:
  • A few people do have a legitimate need for PG-free e-liquids. But I'm not one of them.
  • Artificial colors contribute nothing to the vape itself, so I think it makes sense to avoid them.
  • Artificial flavors are probably safer for inhalation than natural extracts because they are comprised of fewer distinct compounds.
  • Artificial sweeteners are pretty much a must if you want sweeteners at all because natural sugars would gum up coils in no time.
  • Organic strikes me as an oxymoron in e-juice for reasons others have already mentioned.
  • Vegan: I suspect just about all e-juice would qualify for this description, but since I eat plenty of animal products, it's not something that I care about at all.
  • GMO-free: Nature has been doing genetic engineering by trial-and-error for several billion years. I don't see a problem with people helping her along.

In the end, most of these descriptions don't matter to me at all. What matters to me is minimizing my exposure to substances that are widely regarded as toxic to lung tissue. I'm sure you know the ones I mean. But even then, the phrase "xxxx-free!" on a website or product label wouldn't mean much to me. Show me the test results, or I'm not buying.

Nor is human "interference" anything new either. Purposeful cross-polination and grafting have been going on for a millennia. Now the practice is getting more precise with modification on targeted genetic sequences. It's not like they're trying to cross an ear of corn with a cow's rectum…

Nowadays living a healthy life style has become very trendy. So Vaping didn't stay aside. Organic 100% PG-free, pesticide-free, GMO-free and vegan e-liquids found their way on the market. What do you think about these new tendencies in vaping? Is it really so important or it's just marketing? Do you opt for e-juices with no artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners and any other additives?
I really don't care for vaping artificial sweeteners. As far as organic juice goes I wouldn't presume it to be any healthier than artificial flavors. I actually mainly vape unflavored Pg/VG Nic base and have come to like the pure Nic hit, reminds me more of cigarettes than fruit flavors haha. I sometimes lightly flavor the Nic base.

A pack of cookies SHOULD have a 2-3 year shelf life. That is normal as I see it at Walmart all the time. Are you gonna tell me next that Twinkies aren't organic?
The new twinkies are not as good as the old ones.
Well maybe good is not quite the correct word to use...
