I know for fact that E-Cigs are banned at University of Phoenix Stadium NFL games. I work for a company that does subcontracted undercover work in the stadium and got into an argument last year towards the end of last years season. Basically, I switched to E-Cigs right before the start of last years preseason which got me tons of 'GZ's' from everyone who knew me, (I had a 2-2.5 PAD habit). I had no problems and vaped in the smoking area. One day towards the end of the season as I was going through the pat down process, (yes, even employees go through it) one of the S.A.F.E. security spotted my EGO and told me it was banned. I explained that I'd brought it in for EVERY game during the whole season and he then showed me a pamphlet that had it listed under the banned items. I quit arguing and told him to radio down to my boss and tell him that I'm going home as I'm not going to work a 14+ day w/out nicotine and he said he'd let me bring it in 'this time'. As soon as I entered the stadium I saw the head of H.R. and asked him about the policy and we walked over to one of the bigwigs in S.A.F.E. security where he asked about the policy and was told that E-Cigs are allowed in for employees but not paying customers. As far as I'm concerned it's nothing more than a policy made by a lazy security company. Idk about any other stadiums but that's my experience at University of Phoenix Stadium NFL games.

I've heard some NFL stadiums are entirely smoke free. Since the NFL allows stadiums to set their own policy on smoking I'd guess it is up to the stadium to make a ruling on vaping. I expected vaping to be addressed after seeing a completely wrong blog post claiming someone was using a device for illegal substance at a preseason game. It was actually a guy vaping.

Yeah, that guy vaping on camera is why they will be banned at every stadium. Vape loud and proud, until it is banned.

I love football but I will not set foot in a stadium that is payed for buy tax dollars. If I ever saw a terrible waste of money theres one! IMO no city can afford a stadium if they have on pot hole, one school district with out the best opportunity for education. one crime usolved because of lack of resources, one home destroyed because the fire fighters are to far away.

I guess now I have yet another reason to not go to a football game:(

Well, I will just have to ban those Stadiums. They can Kiss my @$$....

By the way, A city chipping in for a stadium reaps incredible rewards in all sorts and all levels of revenue that they would have never had. Its good buisness. A stadium brings in big bucks to the local tax coffers. Counties around Atlanta are doing everything they can to get the Falcons to relocate to a neighboring County. The current county is coughing up the money to keep them in Fulton County. Building a new stadium soon I hear.

The politics behind that stadium - Arthur Blank said there was a possibility that the new stadium would have to be built outside of the city limits. Kasim Reed took the original statement and tried to panic people into a decision to push those big bucks by saying the Falcons would move to a different city away from Atlanta. Then two churches demonstrating they are willing to move but wanted the a lot of cash to do so.

I certainly hope they won't also take vaping away there too. I usually try to catch a game or two. Being that it would be a Fulton Co decision I could see a ban but if it was a decision for the state, I wouldn't think it would happen.

I'd hate to go to fedex(redskins) field only to be told I couldnt bring my PV in. I dont drive to games as we have the metro and its a half mile walk from the metro to the stadium. They do allow smoking at designated areas though.

Could you let me know if you find out? I am going to skins/ bears game in October. Driving 3 hours. Would really like to know before I go in.

Unless things have changed from last preseason, I was openly vaping at the Bengals intersquad scrimmage at Paul Brown Stadium. Everyone had to go through security at the gate single file. Pretty sure they were looking for alcohol and guns, checking bags and purses. I had my Provari in my hand in full view, and even raised it in the air a little so that the guy could see it better and he waved me on through.

I vaped in the concouse area where the food and beer are sold. Hardly drew a look from anyone, although I've yet to see another vapor out in the wild other than a vape shop. I thought about joining the smokers outside the gate at their designated spot, just to see if I'd get a reaction about my mod, but I didn't want to smell their smoke.

Georgia Dome site.. no clarification.

Smoking Policy

For the comfort and health of all fans, the Georgia Dome is a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed in the facility.

Smoking is permitted outside of all entry gates. If you wish to smoke while at a Falcons game, pick up a wristband at a Dome Service Center and proceed outside to the designated smoking areas. You must present your wristband and your ticket to re-enter the Georgia Dome.

Individuals who violate the smoke-free policy will be asked to leave the Georgia Dome.

rounding third and heading home...
can you imagine an untrained security guard seeing an itaste 134 in a pocket? he'd have you on the ground and cuffed in no time- can't say I blame him/her-some of these large mods look way too much like weapons to the ignorant. if you didn't smoke at certain venues why is it so hard to refrain from vaping? still don't get that......
