No one was hurt. Imeo replaced it. That isn't the only battery that exploded. It was just the only one in a GG.

Yes, the original GG would short out if you placed it on a metal surface.

Well it's nice to know that in the event of an unlikely e-cig explosion that you could still walk away with your face and body parts in tact. 8-o I've been thinking about that a lot.
But what about this 5 volt XHaler... Where is everyone getting the info that it vapes at 5 volts? Just curious.

The batteries were unprotected batteries. That is why most everyone uses protected batteries. I use some unprotected batteries. They vent holes will prevent face being hurt.
Hmm... I think it's all speculation till someone like Crash gets it in their hands and puts a voltage meter to it, and checks out the internal parts. I for one won't be testing it, I'm buying from Imeo.
I will be getting some of Drew's 60mg DIY e-liquid, however. I've been meaning to get my hands on a few bottles of that stuff. Nobody else has it, or I'd buy from someone else after this knock-off Grant ordeal. But my cash is on hold anyway till I finish my order with Imeo.

Yeah, I should have mentioned the part about Drew makes his in the USA though. That's why I bought over 2 liters from Vermont Vapor. USA made. I just trust it more, nothing against foreign liquid, but I can't sue them if they lie. hehe. Drew, however, claims that he gets his nic extracted from tobacco from a trustworthy lab in the USA and mixes it locally with PG. All I can do is trust his word at this point. I'm planning to get Drew's 60mg PG based liquid and mix it with some of my Vermont Vapor 35mg VG based liquid.

I got a 60 ml bottle of 60mg for something like 43 bucks... and he carries the 125 ml and 250 mll and 500 ml bottles too if you really want to stock up...lol yea 500ml of 60mg for $213.00 now that's cheap!!!
