Timmy,
With the bottom cap loose it will run at approx 6+ volts, with bottom cap tight it will take off approx. 1 volt to run at approx. 5+ volts. Most people seem to like the cap tight vape better from what I've heard. I keep my cap tight all the time now and that seems to be the best setting. Hope this helps.

jcamacho I need to order the 901-808 adapter. Can I do this through the web site? I didn't know the difference between this or the 808 tip that you can purchase when you order the Xhaler. I tried to add just the tip but it won't let me order by itself without purchasing another Xhaler. What do I need to enable the use of 808 cartomizers with the Xhaler? Just the adapter or the tip that you can include in the kit for $12 more?

The Xhaler comes with 2 brass tips: an 801 and a 901, so you have these 2 attys you can use right on the brass tips. You can also get the 901-->808/GC cartomizer adapter. Cartomizers have the same threading as 901's but they lack the hole the 901's have at the bottom of the atty making airflow a problem. The adapter allows the airflow necessary to make them work and will work with KR808's or GreenCig models. Some types of 801 attys will not get enough airflow on the 801 tips and you can contact Drew if this is an issue.
On my xhaler I have vaped mostly 510's as well as KR808's, GreenCigs, 901's, 801's and HV 510 and 801. I have all of the adapters too.
Hope this helps
