Maybe because they heard that nicotine poisoning was rocketing?

You're missing the point completely.

Start another thread to a story called "Nicotine poisoning doubles", along with unbroken links.

And another for "Nicotine poisoning on the increase".

And sooner or later there isn't really anything you can type into Google along with 'nicotine' without getting bombarded with information about how much e-cigarettes are going to kill you in the face.

Most people concerned about nicotine would just type "nicotine" or nicotine "poisoning". I don't think with type of common searches most people make we have much influence one way or the other. I can't say that we don't have any effect but I don't know how significant it is.

Another thing to consider is that if our opponents quote us often enough whether for good or bad they are still giving us credibility as a place to go for information.

I have no problem making sure my cat doesn't get into my e-nic, yet these people can't keep it away from their children...

Same way with my dog. He may steal a piece of pizza if we forget to put it out of his reach or eat over a dozen chocolate chip cookies be cause the box was left on the oven last week, but he's never bothered with nicquid. Of course he's a never smoker.

Good find AA and some telling about the real need to ban household cleaning products, especially those that can be bought over the internet. :p

If the EU should be thinking about limiting the size of containers of anything to 10ml, it should be bleach and caustic household cleaners. :2c:

Better watch out, we KNOW, without question that once puppy gets a taste that liquid, he'll be out on the street sniping left over butts out of the gutter. It's a gateway you know. :)

Certainly it's being reported all over the world, just as you state. You just reported it again, and your choice of headline assures that it will be picked up by others from outside the forum.

There are an equal number outside "the forum" who will question this story. Not all simply read and accept these as 'factual'.
