And while you do the math, keep in mind that any 18650 battery claims of over ~20amps are pure f-wording bulls-word.

Don't Sony and LG make some 30 amp batteries? I have some that LG claim can do 30 continuous draw. Don't know that I'd want to run 60 amps through them, as that's WAY more than I need.
I've got a noisy cricket on the way though, amd I'm excited for it!
maybe the one's I have are sony's then. I dunno, I typically vape at 25-35 watts on regulated mods. I still build my RDA's at about .5 ohms or so, so I'm probably fine. I pull up an ohms law calc before I build for the NC just to be safe though.

LG HB6Sony doesn't make that claim either.
There are no 30a 18650 cells.
Sony VTC4s are 20a cells.
Mooch tested them and some people push them up to 30a, but Sony lists the CDR as 20a.
You are all good with a .5 build on a quality 20a cell.
But you didn't though.OK guys, I didnt say the 0.1 ohm build was safe. I said you can build as low as you want as long as you are staying within your battery's safety parameters.

LG HB6![]()
But you didn't though.
Remember, on the net what u say is gospel.
Your right.
I forgot about that cell because it's a 1500mah cell that is really only good for a cloud comp.
You sacrifice a lot for the higher CDR with this cell.
The HB6 is my EDB (every day battery), I just ordered 10 more when Illumn restocked. It is a sacrifice as far as run time (not a deal breaker for me as I always have at least 3 mods with me, a couple of spare barrettes and swap out batteries 2X a day) but other than that it performs great. It's useable capacity seems to be a bit deeper than my VTC4s, I've discharged down to 3.3V with no discernible drop off in vape quality on certain mods. It also hits harder out of the gate.
Of course, this is just my subjective experience. I really need to do some actual testing with my multimeter.
I haven't tried one but Mooch's bench tests have always been spot on with my experiences.
Unless you really walk around with a build low enough to win a cloud comp there are much much better performing cells.
Well I didn't think no one could comprehend my earlier post lol. I said I only use Samsungs, therefore I never build below 0.4. It is implied. But you didn't though.

When dealing with safety it's best not to imply anything, being specific is a necessity.Well I didn't think no one could comprehend my earlier post lol. I said I only use Samsungs, therefore I never build below 0.4. It is implied.
