I think you will love this tank- I was totally surprised on how much I love it! The OBS Engines(dual coil) are just Ok in my book and mainly because they don't leak, so I wasn't expecting much, and I still mainly lean to using my factory coil tanks- Love my new Asvape Cobra tanks! I won the Black and loved that one so much I bought the SS and the Gold!
If preordering from China it may be a while till these tanks get shipped as China is on holiday now all week!
fasttech is showing to be shipped on 10/13- I have the Gold in my cart- but waiting for maybe a Halloween sale or fall sale before I get another!
$23.83 Authentic OBS Crius II RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml / 304 stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
great price at FT

Fasttech has it as pre-order - could be because of the holiday. I am excited about it now. Thank you for that. I have several Engine Nanos and love them so figured this would be another great tank. It is better to hear from someone who owns it and has used it. I feel good about that pre-order response to Shinyitus now. :) Thank you!

Love my OBS Crius II in SS color - I have been using it for about a week now and very happy with this well built Tank! I won it in a contest.
I am really happy with the single coil deck, this tank does not get hot for me like my OBS Engines, no tabs to line up either!
I went ahead and used the already installed Ni80 coil and the wicking was easy and no spitting, leaks or dry hits, very good flavor at 35w for me on a .35Ω Ni80 coil, very nice vape and would likely buy another- I'd love the Gold!
The 3.5ml tank is pretty small and thirsty goes thru liquid very quickly, but overall a really nice RTA Tank!

Which sparkly golden mod is that in your photo?

The Mod is the Asmodus Minikin V1.5 in Gold! Great little mod I have the V1.5 in gold and purple.
I also have the Minikin V2 both in Prism(rainbow) and want to get the Grit(rotten) colorway next! I would love to get the Minikin V2 Kodama, but that will have to wait till after XMas!
I also own the Asmodus Silvanusa(stabwood)

Oh, another Asmodus fan. My newest mod and my favorite ever is my Minikin V2 in purple. I am trying to decide what other colors I MUST have. I love, love, love that mod. I want the gold and Prism, but like the matte colors so much - it seems like there is silicone in the paint. It feels perfect in my hand.

Love the purple it looks great with the Fireluke tanks! Yes it has like a rubberized finish like my purple V1.5- very nice! I love the prism(rainbow) but really bad fingerprint magnets and have some scratches in the finish from my jewelry! I love the Gold and the chrome- but I am sure they are fingerprint magnets too!
That's why I want the Grit( pretty neat looking black and silver) next!
Asmodus make great mods and love all of mine and will be adding the Grit and the Kodama in the future!
On the Asmodus Distrubution website- you get to choose the exact stabwood you want and that is how I bought my Silvanusa from them! Love that- no random color choices for me when you spend that kind of money.
If you check out the Asmodus site- look at all the potential colors they will be making for the Minikin V2 many stunning colors!

I have looked there and it is overwhelming. How do you choose? o_O Okay, as the owner of both the Minikin 1.5 and the V2, would buy a 1.5 in gold if you could find one? The finish on your gold 1.5 looks like it wouldn't be so prone to fingerprints, where that super shiny metallic of the V2 looks like it is something I would be polishing ALL the time. LOL I found the 1.5 in gold on a couple of sites for about $60 but wanted an opinion. Is the V2 improved so much over the 1.5 that I would be disappointed with V1.5? Your gold one really did catch my eye and as I said, this mod is my all time favorite in my almost 4 and half years of vaping.

One big complaint I have heard about the Asmodus mods is that they don't do TC or TCR well. I did an experiment today and wrote up the results in the TC thread comparing TC/TCR between the Battlestar and the Minikin V2 for anyone interested in reading my results.

HERE is my comparison review between the two in TCR and TC mode.

I got the gold(only color left) V1.5 during a great sale at eightvape in February 2017- it was $33.00 and my 1st Asmodus mod- I use that mod daily, but is much bigger than the V2, but the battery sleeve and sled is great and works great, but love the V2 for better size. I am a wattage only vaper so both work for me.
That gold finish is really nice- no scratches- looks brand new, but I wouldn't pay $60.00 for it, I'd get another V2. That gold won't be matchy with the shiny gold tanks IMHO, but looks great with rainbow, black and silver tanks, really looks nice with the OBS Crius ll, because of the drip tip, like tortoise shell- you could try to wait for a sale? But I think the V1.5 is being discontinued as they have the newer 155w Boost which is similar or the new Reborn which has the same swipe screen as the V2.
The finish of the gold is beautiful, but not as sparkly as the camera seemed to capture.
If I could only get the V1.5 or the V2- definitely the V2, just stay away from the Chrome finishes, not durable, the bottom and the face around the swipe screen is showing major wear and fingerprints galore.

I have 2 of the original OBS Crius that are dual coil velocity style decks and 4 ml. Compared to my IJoy Combo RDTA, it's a toss-up. They both perform about the same, but I like the extra build decks available for the Combo. The Crius II may be a little small for me.

Thank you for the great reply! That was my gut feeling but it never hurts to ask someone who knows more than I do about the item. :) I will buy one more V2 in some great color and see what comes next. I do love my Minikin V2. My other mods feel quite ignored these days. LOL

The Crius and Crius Plus are still in my rotation, although I thought that some of the newer tanks would perform better.
Man, I was so wrong. These two have aged really, really well.
The Crius RDTA on the other hand didn't even catch my interest. It's a nice RDTA if you don't own one, but it's nothing special compared to some other RDTAs.

Yay! I got my package today.

My first impression is highly positive.
Production quality is really, really good, although I thought at first, that the afc is a little loose, but when it's on the mod, it has the perfect tolerance and tension. Great!

The builddeck is the easiest I've ever used. That single clamp system is very comfortable and the zirconia seems durable, and I cranked it down really tight.
It comes with a preinstalled 0,4ohm flat clapton with an ID of 3.5mm, but I there's room enough to go even larger in diameter.
The first time I wicked it too tight, but fortunately the deck can even be accessed with a full tank. So I cut the ends of the wick in a triangle, with the tips just protruding the wickports.
So far the juiceflow is good and there's no leaking. I even refilled it after chainvaping with open afc and there was no sign of flooding, spitback or leaking.

The draw is a little restricted but very comfortable. I noticed that it starts to whistle, if I close the afc more than half, but i like the draw best when fully open anyway.

It is definetely not the cloudiest RTA out there, but the flavour is excellent and at least on par with the best DL flavour RTAs, and I say that despite the fact, that I had to use only simple cosmetic cotton from a local supermarket, because my supply of vapecotton is depleted.

As of now I would highly recommend the Crius II, but there's a chance, that I revise my opinion, after testing it for a few more days. Although at this point I highly doubt it, because this is the first RTA in a long time, that impressed me that much with its first impression.

Mine is on the way. Love your review and am looking forward to playing with the Crius II. Thanks!

What color did you get? Yes I am too lazy to go look. lol

I probably never said. I got the gold and am a little bummed because the earlier photos showed it with a green drip tip and now it shows what appears to be a tortoiseshell tip. I know it is silly but that green drip tip looked so pretty with the gold.
