After a solid week with this tank, I will say it's now my #1 favorite tank. I love the flavor, it's plenty airy for me, and it doesn't leak. I'm ordering a second one in black as soon as they're back in stock in the US (or if not really soon, just do the long wait/overseas way).
Finally got mine in yesterday,am still getting used to it as it's much airier than my Sapor 25 rta,but I will say this it's much easier to wick, rewicked today after watching rips review as he recommends having your wicks just touching the bottom to prevent spit back,so I did it that way just to see and all is good,no dry hits and wicks great, also noticed after second fill up the gurgling gets to be less and less witch is also good,am running twisted 26 gauge kanthal dual coils of course and ohming in at .3 at 55 watts;-)

Gotta agree with you bud, thinking of getting a black one myself, though having both the Sapor and the engine, the Sapor has better flavor hands down but it's a little finicky to wick up,but not that bad after you get the hang of it,if you ever decide to get one let me know and I can save you some time and hassle getting right quicker, check it out bud if you like top airflow leak free tanks;-), but if you decide to pull the trigger get the 25 mm version and not the 22 mm.

Actually, that has been one I've though about. I've been hesitant to try anything with a top airflow configuration before the Engine (totally subjective and overly concerned about the lengthy air path), but after this tank I'm far more open to trying out more with this setup. I know top airflow isn't a guaranteed leak free setup, but it is a lot more leak resistant than conventional bottom airflow. Given the juice volume on the Sapor I was thinking of the 25 mm version.

I am keeping my eyes open for the 23 mm Engine from a US vendor, as I could pop that on my Pico for a small out an about unlikely to leak in my pocket setup.

LOL Franck! I had kind of forgotten, but that is a funny reminder! Hope you are well.

Just got this puppy wicked up and have had a few pulls. Flavor isn't there YET, but first impressions are that this could be a really nice little tank. Easy to wick, easy to build, fill, etc.

Quality is excellent on the build. I will have more impressions tomorrow after spending a little time with this.

I am in love with this tank! Currently running a triple core fused Clapton dual coil setup and the flavor is amazing! And if you watch the video by advancedvapesupply.com on their suggested wicking method with the cotton just covering the wick holes, not shoved down in them this thing is a beast!!

Well I've been using this every day now for 11 days, more and more each day, and this evening I finally got to the point of "well, I think I need to rewick it", which is pretty amazing as I'm after flavor, not cloud. That wicking technique of just having the ends just in the holes, not through them, does work for me as well. Guess I'll tackle it tomorrow.

Just got mine today. Built the black one with twin 26 gauge Kanthals, 7 wraps each, 3.5mm ID, which came to .58 ohms. I've only been vaping on it for about 20 minutes, but I'm LOVING it so far. :thumb:

All is well bud thanks for asking, glad to hear you got your hands on an engine, looking forward to seeing how your getting along with it;-) I was really worried about having to rewick it with juice in it because top air flow tanks are notorious for pissing out juice from the air holes when you flip them over, but to my surprise not a drop comes out with this one which is a relief;-)

Hey Eskie got a question for ya,are you closing you're airflow when you fill up? The reason I ask is because the only I dislike about the engine is the mouth full of e juice after every fill up,it does go away after a few pulls but damn it's annoying is hell, wish I didn't have to go thru that every time :-/ are you dealing with that as well? Any body else care to chime in as well ? Or maybe it's just me? Interested to know your thoughts every one,thanks;-)

I don't close the airflow when I refill. If you are getting a bit of flooding right after a refill, next time you might want to try a little less wick. I've not had a real problem with that. The first one or two puffs might be a tiny bit "wet", but then it goes away. But not real flooding.
Thanks bud,nah can't be the wicking cause I don't have a lot in there, maybe it's because am closing off air flow? Do you think that might play a role here? I'll keep it open on next fill up and see what that does;-)

Ok left air flows open and it was worse, weird right? Cause after a few pulls it's ok,oh well still love the thing though;-)

Just rewicked it (jeez the wick was dirtier than I expected) and changed juice as long as I was changing the wick. First few puffs were "juicy", not truly flooded, but a little wet and gurgly, went away after about 3 or 4 puffs. Now it's smooth as can be. Can't say if that was because of the new wick/slightly different wicking/lunar cycle, but not enough to bother me. Flavor is excellent on this juice as well, certainly on par with my Merlin, which has been my top flavor pick until now.

I have a dilemma to to go with this, the obs engine 25mm or geekvape griffin plus 25. I'm more of an rda junky who likes flavor with a good amount of clouds. Does anyone own both? If so which would you recommend? I have a problem deciding. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry I won't be able to help you out much as I only have the engine out of the two you're asking about,no need to go into the engine as by reading all of our threads you can tell that we are all big fans,as for geek vape, every tank I've ever purchased from them as given me issues, the griffin was very finicky to wick up,the eagle tank was just a big over hyped flop in my opinion.now back to the engine,it as AWSOME flavor,it's easy to wick,it won't leak, and if you put some alien fused claptons in there you can get some decent clouds for sure,a lot of pros,no negs;-) hope that helps you out a little bit bud;-)
